This dentist has made the experience of going for check ups and procedures something to look forward to rather than something to dread! Lena, the hygienist, is the most gentle person who has ever cleaned my teeth, drs. Sharfae are both very careful not to cause pain, the technicians are careful to explain everything that is going to be done and of importance to me, the entire office participates in keeping the office clean and COVID free.
The front desk is so patient. They communicate with phone calls, texts and email. There is a game in the waiting area and child size seating to help children feel comfortable.
This is truly a Modern Family Dentist.

I started out YEARS ago with Modern Family and Dr. Maggie but due to some personal things in my life I chose to go somewhere else (my husband has remained a patient for almost 20yrs now). The years away were not good experiences at all. In fact, mostly terrible so I quit going to the dentist altogether for the most part. In the midst of the pandemic I had a terrible tooth ache and found out I needed a root canal. I could not find any emergency dental clinics open and my husband called Modern Family Dental and Dr Maggie took me in that day to help with the pain and got me in a day later to someone to take care of the root canal for me. Dr Maggie, her husband and the entire staff TRULY care for their patients and are amazing, amazing people/heroes! They remember small details about your life and always ask how you've been, how was your trip, how is your new niece, etc... You truly feel like you are at "home" with them. It's a little ironic to stay but going to the dentist at Modern Family last year was the most relaxing thing I had done all year. MAYBE the nitrous gas had a little to do with it... maybe... but mostly b/c they do all they can to make you feel comfortable, at ease and well taken care of. Side note: when I first started going to Dr Maggie I had noticed one visit that on my chart it read something to the effect of: "Get's very nervous in visits. Please treat with TLC." I will NEVER forget how touched I was reading that and feeling she genuinely cared about me and how I felt. I would give a billion stars if I could. I left years ago, came back and will never leave now. They're stuck with me. :-)

Since I have implants I get dental cleaning every 4 month to avoid bone loss. As I walked in received a warm reception from the receptionist followed by a through exam of my teeth and superb cleaning byThe Higenist, Then the doctor came examined my mouth also checked previous X-Rays to make sure he doesn’t see any changes. At the end they sent me home with a bag of tooth paste, floss and medical moth wash. The whole stuff and the doctor were courteous and helpful.

Dr. Sharfaes staff was quite welcoming, very friendly and most professional. Even though they did not accept my insurance, Carol made me feel confident they could help me and offered reasonable options. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to give them a chance, especially since I was able to get in the following morning of my initial call. I will more than likely return. The office setting was nice and pleasant. Hardly a wait time. Thank you all. Take care. 🙂

The best dentist and staff. They take the time to explain and recommend treatment options letting you know if any out of pocket expenses after insurance pays. They are transparent and they keep my mouth healthy. I wholeheartedly trust them and will recommend family and friends to this practice.
