Tara Rios Dental Group

I have been looking for place to get a cleaning for a few days now here in Brownsville, Texas. I called Tara Rios’ Dental office to ask questions about their services and prices. I was aided by a receptionist named Lindsey, and she did a great job at covering all of my questions. I have now found a dentist in Brownsville. Great service!

I have been a patient of Dr Rios for about 5 years now. I have always admired staff’s professionalism. I was beyond excited when my daughter Lindsey Garcia started working for her office. As a mother, I am satisfied knowing that she will be taught good work ethic‘s and responsibility. Lindsey it’s a hard-working young lady.

Horrible bed side manner from "the"Tara Rios. It's a shame because all her staff is excellent. It is horrible how she made me feel so insignificant due to the insurance I have, as if I couldn't afford treatment. I am shocked and horrified by her lack of respect and lack of professionalism. I had to ask for the treatment plan because if I hadn't, she would not have explained anything at all to me. She seems so nice in pictures and says the right things in video, but in person she is absolutely negative and arrogant. I am in disbelief. I had heard so many horrible things about her but never thought they'd be true. Please do yourself a favor and head to Dr.Osborn in Valley Dental. He knows how to explain treatment, tret patients beyond expectations and has great bed side manners. Please don't let people, simply because they have a medical background, to treat you like anything less than you deserve. These people..Doctors..need us for their practice. If they are not good and make you feel like you don't belong or ashamed of why you're seeing them, fire them. We are the patients and we call the shots when treated with such disrespect. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!!

I have never met such an efficient and all around sweet caring person than my Dental Hygienist Pree Tyner! She makes you feel so comfortable the whole time she’s working on your teeth. What can I say that would do her justice!! She is just awesome all around. The majority of my family see’s her and we all love her. She ALWAYS made sure I was doing good even with the aftercare she gives you. Anytime she’s working she will always return your phone call if you need her. Highly recommend anyone who’s looking for an awesome caring dental hygienist that puts you first and is very efficient at her job go to Dr. Rios and see Pree Tyner.

i am happy with the dr. his bedside manner is great. he couldnt do the work on my tooth because it wouldnt go dead. i'm hard of hearing but i thought i was being refered to a dr. that could deaden the tooth and do the job. not so. the dr. in mc allen who i thought was a specialist wasnt. he was a referral for a second opinion. i didnt need a second opinion. he tapped my tooth and said he couldnt help me. took 5 minutes and $165. i am not happy!

I was having trouble finding a good dentist for my grandmother who is very picky and impatient but thanks to Samantha who helped her fill out her new patient forms. She was very satisfied and happy with this young lady, thanks to Samantha for being patient and kind to my grandmother. 10/10 recommend.

Awesome dental office great staff everyone is very professional! Dr. Mason has angel hands had treatment with him & had 0 pain. His assistant Ida is very carrying changed my gauze before I left & Alejandra explained everything over my insurance and even offered me a payment plan. I'm very happy & pleased with there service!

Doctor was nice and had good bedside manner. The rest of the experience was horrible. The front office staff was rude, despite coming in 30 minutes before my appointment, I still was not taken back until 20 minutes past my 830 (first appointment of the day). Sat in the back for another 30 minutes for a quick 5 minute doctor visit who was confused the cleaning wasn’t completed as well. Then another 20 minutes go by and the hygienist walks in, unfortunately it’s been too long and I have to get to another meeting. When the visit was booked I told the scheduler I could only come if I could be out by a certain time. They had the wrong name and phone number and expected me to sign a blank page without telling me what was being signed. If you don’t have plans for the rest of the day and like spending time in a waiting room, watching people show up after you for later appointment times and going back, this is the place for you. I’m going to look for somewhere who cares more about the patients.

There was initially some confusion with my insurance coverage that led to me having to contact the Office Manager. The Office Manager made it a point to help me resolve the issue and was extremely professional.

While the front desk staff was rude and lacking communication skills, the management made up for it with their quick and helpful response to the situation.

Visited office a few weeks ago experienced Great Customer Service from Samantha Solis and a quick dental visit at actual appointment time. Quicker than expected.
