I love Precious Smiles Dentistry. Dr Chris and his wife are the best. They explain everything to you as you are watching it on the ceiling. My son loves to go to the dentist because they make him feel at ease.

Update: Had to have a tooth pulled today. Dr. Chris made sure the experience was as painless as possible. I never even felt the needle. Tooth came out and all is well.

I called them for an emergency and they said you just walk in and we will see you. We walked in and they seen us. The front desk is kind and my mom is happy she didn't have to wait days in pain.

Dr.Chris works you into the schedule for emergencies, and takes time to explain all of your options. He doesn’t make you feel judged when you choose the cheapest option. He takes time to get you numb, even with an infection. Definitely my go to for dental work.

Dr. Chris was very thorough and explained everything before and during the procedure. Dental work isn't always the most pleasant experience, but Dr chris made it very comfortable. His staff is very nice and informative as well.

Both Dr. Chris & Dr. Rose are very pleasant & explain the work needed to your teeth very thoroughly. However, I called their office prior to making any appointments to inquire if they are in-network with my dental insurance. I was told yes by the front staff so I proceeded with making an appointment. Both my daughter & I needed work & were given a breakdown of the final payment before services could be rendered. It didn’t sound too bad so I made my payment each visit we had to come. Well 2 months down the line I’m told my insurance didn’t pay as much on my claims as I was initially charged & more money is needed. Now I’m not sure why in West, TX most of these doctors/dentists require payment in full upfront, but I was not about to dish out $853 more on top of what I’ve already been paying with no explanation other than “your insurance didn’t pay as much as we thought.” To me, it sounded like I WAS in fact being charged out of network rates, but none of the front staff would come out & say it. I called my insurance & was advised that yes the doctors are out of network. So for none of that being mentioned even AFTER the claims processed I’m giving 2 stars. I work in healthcare & I know upfront if our facilities are in-network or out of network with an insurance. It’s hard to predict how much exactly will be covered up front, because of deductibles/coinsurances etc so that part I understand. However, once a claim processes most providers can at least tell if it was paid in-network or out of network, even if the staff can’t fully explain the breakdown of it they at least KNOW that part. That being said, I will not be returning to finish the work. As a customer, I don’t appreciate not being told some information up front OR after everything is all said & done. I’ll just wait until I visit Houston where doctors/dentists allow payment plans for visits over $500.

Precious Smiles was great from beginning till end. Claudia showed me around, did me xrays and stayed when the Dr came in to go over my results. She was very friendly and professional. Dr Chriss was amazing as well. He made me feel comfortable and didnt seem rushed at all. He also said he wouldnt charge for things if its not scientifically proven to work, which is amazing because other places had no problem charging that. I came here based on reviews i read and wanted to post my review so it can make someones descion to choose this place. Im very happy i chose Precious Smiles.
Update:
When I went back for work that needed to be done I was asked if I wanted everything. If I want my deep cleaning, fillings,and wisdom teeth taken out at this appointment. Then they asked if I was there for a reg cleaning or deep cleaning. They seem to have no idea. She said she can take my back and let the dr look at me again and see what I needed done. She said it didn't say in the computer. I just got up and left. I will never let someone take care of my dental needs if they can't keep notes of what I need done. It seemed to be a guessing game. They def just lost a customer for that reason.
