This dental office is very professional and clean. The bedside manner is excellent. But if you care about the technical quality of treatment, do not hire Dr. Banerjee. I came here for a molar filling and it went poorly.
1. I got the filling in December of 2020 and it was so sensitive that I could not floss without nerve pain, nor could I chew on that side of my mouth at all. I just got the filling replaced in April 2021 and finally I am relieved of this pain.
2. I returned to the office a few days after the procedure to see why it was still painful. Dr. Banerjee drilled on the tooth a little bit, placed some anesthetic compound (possibly inside of the resin, which sounds grossly wrong, but I am guessing because he did not tell me). He then recommended I take OTC painkillers so the nerves could "forget" about the filling.
3. The cavity was very small, on the front surface of the tooth. Dr. Banerjee filled the biting surface and the inner surface of my tooth as well. Did not ask beforehand, did not tell me after the procedure, I only noticed after the fact. Now I have a huge filling when it should have been very small and localized.
4. Dr. Banerjee was very cagey about explaining technically what he was going to do during the filling procedure, citing that he didn't want me to second guess his procedures. I asked at least twice and the best he would do was to show me a generic video.
5. Dr. Banerjee briefly discussed that water has a "memory" and it sounded like this influences his treatment decisions. Also discussed that homeopathy is "almost" right. While an open mind is valuable, I would like my medical provider to stay rooted in the hard sciences.
6. The filling had black marks on it, immediately following installation.

My first experience was just cleaning. They did a fantastic job. Second treatment, I had 4 molars extracted neatly and gums healed quickly! I went back for 4 fillings that were done flawlessly. Dr Banerjee is very skilled and has steady hands. He's also very friendly and relatable. Going back for my fourth treatment next year!

Luxury dental office, highly invested in technology and ease of new patient document signing and forms. Reminders were sent via text and I got a reminder call the day of. The admin was very nice. The doctor was extremely professional but also very personable. He used to live in Hawaii but moved to Dallas to start his practice. I highly suggest Dental Care of Plano for all your dental needs :)

This is the best dental practice I have ever visited! Aesthetically, all the equipment, furniture, and appearance of the office is modern and gives off a feel of luxury. Everyone is very friendly, but still very professional- from the way they speak to the way they are dressed. They are very thoughtful, aware and concerned about every patient. I felt safe and comfortable with their suberb level of cleanliness and caution, especially with the concerns of Covid-19 spread. Every detail of the experience is well- thought out and thorough, even when it comes to making payments

1) Asthetic/feel - Ambiance is very calming. I was greeted warmly by Dr.Banerjee and immediately made comfortable.
2) Dr Banerjee did not rush, he took time to explain, showed videos and covered cause and effect of what was going on. He answered my questions and had a sense of humor about him. I laughed on multiple occasions.
Dr. Banerjee was knowledgeable, found ways to make metaphors for ease of communication and was accommodating to my teeth sensitivity. He did not rush. He genuinely cared.
I actually look forward to going back and I highly recommend Dental Care of Plano.
He also was flexible on payment options, for those concerned.

Dr. Banerjee is great and does everything. Doctor's go to school to learn to take care of us and he takes time to share his knowledge with you and explain the what and the why. He gave us some good recommendations, and also explained the reasoning behind why other dentists might give certain recommendations!
He also answers the phone, I didn't realize this while booking! My wife and I both go to him. I was in and out lickedy-split.
We will definitely be recommending him to our friends and family!
