New Image Dentistry

I 've been a patient of Dr. Holland for over ten years. I have been extremely happy with his care and recommendations for my dental health. He always tries to minimize discomfort during proceedures. His hygienists are top notch. Last but not least is Helena, she is the person every doctor needs to interface with patients. She makes sure you understand your billing and always has a smile.

This is not an easy thing for me to do but, this group has given me no choice. I suppose if you have a lot of money or you don't need to worry about money, they are a great office. If you never question what they charge you then you are lucky and this post is not for you. If on the other hand, you are a normal person with bills and a budget, the you might want to ask about how everything is charged. I know we did and still there were surprise costs. When you ask if this includes everything make sure you get the definition of everything. If you are under the impression that if you use Care Credit to pay for this, please make sure that you can pay it off in 12 months. When we were told they used Care Credit to help with the payments, and it was interest free for a certain period of time, i thought that would be great. When you go online to their website, it shows there are different ways to sign up for the interest free plans. They have plans from 6 months to actually 36 months. I figured we were okay. We went in for the surgery for the dentures and Dr Wylie was going to do the sedation, she decided not to do it due to the glitch in the EKG. Then she called it off and sent us to a Cardiologist. Needless to say they wanted to run up a huge bill for testing. We then went to another doctor for a second opinion. He cleared my husband and gave a clean bill of health saying it was no big deal. Thank goodness for honest people. I do understand her concern but she had mentioned that Dr. Greene who specializes in sedation could have just done it in the first place. Really long story short, Dr Greene did the surgery after running all over town getting clearance for really nothing. When the surgery was cancelled the first time, the office had to credit the money from Care Credit until the surgery was done. so on the real surgery day, we went to sign for the money. since we had never, never and I mean never discussed it, I told them we would do the 24 month plan. We could barely afford that. We were told at that moment that they could not do a 24 month. I was upset but they said they could do the 18 months. I had no choice at that time since they had already made the mold which was $1300. Dr Greene was great and turns out he just comes to the practice when they do sedation cases.now we are one year later and get the monthly statement form Care Credit. They are informing us we were on a year promotion and owe the balance by the end of the month of July. Great news. Called the office and was told we never do 18 months and there is nothing they could do. I thought I was pretty good at this kind of stuff until a few days ago. I am angry and have spent two days calming down before writing this. I worked for doctors all my adult life and spent a great deal of my time helping patients find ways to make the financial burden of medical bills easier. never forget that this is a business and for the most part, a business which has little help no matter what kind of insurance you may have. dental insurance sucks for the most part and they unlike other kinds of physicians get a larger chunk of their money. I am just writing this to continue the way i have always done things in my life. I would swear on my life that we were under the impression that we signed up for 18 months. If this helps you then i have done my job. go there if you want but never forget that this happens in other places and make sure you ask about how you will be charged and for what. I feel like we were misled and had no choice but to pay what they wanted

I would highly recommend New Image Dentistry. From the time I walked in, until the time I walked out I was treated so well. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The place is so clean, and well organized. I was very impressed with it all. Great experience!

Such a beautiful office everyone is so nice and professional. I really recommend coming here and seeing Dr. Holland or Dr. Gonzalez not only do they make you feel comfortable but they make sure you get the best treatment. Had my cleaning done by Carolina and was one of the best yet!

Dr. Holland is awesome, a great dentist and a wonderful person. I have been his patient since 1995. He has a great caring staff. I always refer my friends to him when they are in need of a dentist.

I love everyone who works here, they always are nice and smiling. Wonderful waiting room (never have to wait long) and all the exam/cleaning areas have tvs so you can watch while you're getting cleanings. Best dentist I've ever been to!

I live in Boerne, but make the drive to San Antonio to New Image because of the wonderful care I receive there. Not only are they well skilled at their specific jobs, but they are also very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Dr Holland and his team for your dental needs.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Holland over 20yrs. If you are considering changing dentists, we highly recommend this office. Staff is awsome, very professional. They take care of you here.

Dr. Holland's staff was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable, even though I typically am very anxious at the Dentist! I had a great experience and am glad my friends recommended him!
