Timpanogos Dental

Giving 1 star and the only reason for that is because of the assistant she was very nice and assured me that I’m doing great during the appointment. Ok now for the hard part, I’ve never done this before. as for my total experience, Dr. Taylor was professional in explaining my options for fixing my tooth(root canal or pull it)and my cavity. Now let me tell you about myself. I have scoliosis if you don’t know what that is. it is the curvature of the spine (please look it up) so I have limitations one of which is how far I can open my mouth. They did try Propping my Mouth open with wedges, but they were either too small or too big they just wouldn’t work. But if they would’ve had the clamps that would clamp your mouth open I think that would’ve been better, but they did not have this at his facility. So I was forced to try to keep my mouth open as long as possible and as wide as possible but over a long period, it started hurting my jaw and my jaw was getting tired. so Dr. Taylor would make remarks “trying to open my mouth wider and try to work with me” when due to my physical limitations I was doing the best that I could. After the first appointment was done I thanked them and told them sorry for not opening my mouth wide enough for him and explaining about my scoliosis and said sorry again and thank you for fixing my tooth and I will see them on the next visit. On the second visit, his assistant was very nice and I did tell her that I was experiencing a little anxiety before we even started and she reassured me and said “that this one shouldn’t take as long and everything should be ok” and it was going great until I had to keep my mouth open wide For Dr. Taylor to fix my cavity. He was finishing up and got the cavity filled and it was time to do the final adjustments then he stopped and asked me if I wanted to stop right there or have me open wide enough so he could trim the edges of the cavity filling and said “I’m not a wizard” multiple times I said I guess stop because I can’t open my mouth any wider and he wasn’t willing to try so we were done and said if I have any other problems, to call or come back I said thank you and he left.

My wife told me to go to her dentist but I didn’t. I wanted to stay close to home, but after the experience I had I’m definitely going to her dentist next time I would not recommend going to Timpanogos dental if you have any limitations whatsoever. I just feel defeated and belittled after my experience at Timpanogos dental.

Update: Had me wait 45 minutes after my appt was supposed to start, received a mere "Sorry about that." Then scheduled a filling appt, which they forgot about / never wrote down. Showed up and was turned away. Funny how they make my pay for missing an appt but don't pay me for the same thing.

We had heard great things about Dr. Brooks from neighbors. Dr. Tayler was who actually attended to us. Great environment. They took good care of us. I didn't feel like they were trying to upsell. Dr. Tayler is great, long winded, but he new his stuff and was honest about how soon and how much treatment we needed (e.g. the cavity could wait several years before it needed to be treated). The free bleach trays were a definite perk.

My boys and I love Timpanogos Dental. Before finding them, I went to a different dentist every 6 months for many years because none of them impressed me. I'm so glad I found Timpanogos Dental and we've been going there for about 15 years now.

When my boys were babies/toddlers I learned that Dr. Taylor and the staff were even better with them than the pediatric dentist (even my anxiety-prone son) so we left the pediatric dentist for Dr. Taylor also. Dr. Taylor and staff are the perfect mix of professional and casual. They seem to always be on schedule somehow even though I feel that Dr. Taylor takes all the time necessary to explain everything and give options.

I love that Dr. Taylor is not treatment happy. He'll let us know if decay can be "watched" and possibly avoid a filling or if we can try a filling instead of a crown. I actually found them as a second opinion and they saved me thousands of dollars on treatment that another dentist said I needed.

I recommend Timpanogos Dental to all of my family and friends. My sister gave them a try and she's hooked too, driving up from Orem for her appointments.

Office staff is very friendly. I hate going to the dentist because my toes end up hurting from curling them to combat the pain. Jana was amazing I have never had a dentist clean my teeth so well and it didn’t hurt at all. Loved it!! I will be going back every 6 months as recommended to have them take care of me. Dr. Tayler and his staff are A+ I highly recommend them.

I ENJOYED being at the dentist! The hygienist, Hayley, was entertaining and personable as well as informative for my individual dental needs. Dr. Taylor was so helpful in teaching me how to take my potential cavity back to healthy teeth so that I don’t have to pay for fillings! I love a provider who has my best interest in mind when providing care. Great place! Even the receptionist was enjoyable!

What a great experience! Dr. Tayler and his staff are very friendly and professional. Dr. Tayler takes the time to actually explain things to his patients and doesn't talk down to them. Other dentists I've been to always seem to over-schedule and this isn't the case here. I really appreciate that they value my time. I recommend Timpanogos Dental highly.

We have going to Timpanogos Dental for years! They are great. My husband, 4 kids, and myself love this office and staff. I had an infection on the roof of my mouth and they were so helpful. Dr Tayler even called me to see how I was doing. He also does a great job at explaining everything. I highly recommend them.

I've had a great experience with Timpanogos Dental, Dr. Taylor has done some amazing work for me. The hygienists are knowledgeable and professional. I recently had a filling fall out from work I had done by my previous dentist. Dr. Taylor did a new filling and did such a good job you would never be able to tell there is a filling in that tooth.

This place is awful. They don't care about clients they're just looking to get you in and out. Had them tell me I had multiple cavities and needed them filled...I went to another dentist and they said they were very small and didn't need anything done. They're just trying to make a quick buck...

I also had to re-schedule an appointment and they wanted to charge me $50 and kept having people hound me about $50 for NO SERVICE. This place is terrible. Choose another dentist there are plenty who are more honest.

We love Timpanogos Dental! Dr. Tayler and his staff are friendly and do a great job. Dr. Tayler does a great job explaining everything to us and he follows up with us after treatments to check to see how we are doing. Their entire staff go above and beyond to help us with anything we need. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist.
