I've been going to this office for about 10 years now and love all of the staff. Everyone does a great job and is super friendly and so nice. I've always seen Dr. Searle, so I can't speak for either of thr other 2 dentists in the office, but he is great. He's very thorough and good at explaining things and just a genuinely pleasant person.

I’ve been coming here for years when it was Murdock and Searle. Dr. Murdock retired which is why the name changed but Dr Smith has picked up the torch and is great! He really cares about the longevity of your teeth and gives you multiple options for an action plan (when available) and gives his recommendation but completely understands if you can’t follow that financially and will do what you can afford with a smith on his face.

Friendly staff, but stay away! They are incompetent and unethical in their billing.
I was given a treatment plan than was $4,400 with me covering $814.40 of that amount, insurance covering $1,221.60 and the remaining $2,364.00 being written off.
The actual bill came along and the total was increased to $4,700 with me owing $1,942.40, insurance covering $857.60, and $1894.40 being written off.
I brought up the fact that my costs were over double the original treatment plan. Nothing got adjusted, and I was left to pay $1942,40 for the services.
To make it worse, about a month after paying what I was told would be the full bill, I got an updated bill showing and additional $857.60 due. This was the amount insurance was supposedly covering. The office claimed the services provided were outside the allowable frequency. I said I would be happy to provide the invoices showing the dates when the original service were done to show that they were within the insurance requirements. I was told the claim would resubmitted to insurance and if the office needed any additional information, the office would contact me. I never received any confirmation or updates on a resubmitted claim. Based on this, I am doubtful that it was ever resubmitted to insurance. The really frustrating part about this is, I was under the impression that this had been preauthorized since the office said they were going to check with insurance prior to providing me a treatment plan. That obviously was not the case.
I've refused to pay the additional amount they deem as due since I've already nearly covered the patient and insurance costs of the original treatment plan and furthermore I've received no update or proof of resubmission of the insurance claim. They have sent the remaining amount on the bill to collections.
Like I said, incompetent and unethical in their billing. Stay away.
