I’ve been going to Murdock and Searle for many, many years. I did have to switch for a couple years because of issues with insurance and it was awful. As soon as I could switch back I did. Very professional! Love the Dentists and staff. I highly recommend them!

The doctors and staff here are awesome! Especially Dr. Searle! He does such a great job. He makes going to the dentist an enjoyable experience. You won't find a better dentist than Dr. Searle! He is always very thorough in his exams, and very knowledgeable. You will not regret coming to Dr. Searle for your dental care!

Great cleaning experience! No waiting! And no cavities!

This is a top notch dental office. My family and I love Dr. Searle and his staff. I appreciate that Dr. Searle always explains all of the options and is conservative in diagnosing cavities. I have had several crowns and wisdom teeth extractions done by him and each time I have felt comfortable and knew I was in good hands. My 3 year old boy even loves coming in for his check ups and cleanings. He loves the movie room and getting his prize at the end. Dr. Searle's assistants and hygienist are very knowledgeable and work great as a team. I would recommend this office to anyone!

Let’s be honest, no one ENJOYS going to the dentist. I will say that Dr Murdock is hands down the best dentist I’ve been to. He will not do work unless it’s necessary. If there is an alternate route to take, he'll always explore the least invasive. He will let you know his honest opinion and let you take it from there. My family will be patients here for life. Can’t say enough good.

I have been coming to doctor Murdock for 19 years now, my parents even longer. I have always had a positive experience until the last two years. When the main receptionist / billing person left everything since has been unorganized. Appointments always run late and the billing is somehow messed up every time (not ran through insurance listed in account, extra things added or forgotten, bill sent to wrong address, etc).

The final straw for me, was my last three appointments. I went in for a cleaning and was told I needed a few fillings. They advised me to split it into two appointments and scheduled me in the office that same day as well as provided me a cost breakdown for both upcoming appointments ($130). I showed up for my next appointment and waited 25 minutes past my appointment time to be brought back, than an additional 20 minutes after being numbed for the doctor to come. Upon leaving this appointment I was told I owed $240 for that days portion + the prior cleaning "because I didn't have insurance". I told her I did in fact have insurance and it was the same it's been for years, she apologized and did see and and told me they'd send it through.

The next appointment comes and I wait 15 minutes after my appointment time to get brought back, and another 20 minutes before an assistant even comes to the chair to numb me. I get numb and no one comes back - 45 minutes later I flag someone down and they rudely told me there was other patients ahead of me and to basically learn to wait my turn. 30 minutes later the assistant comes back and asked if the doctor had been over yet - he hadn't. By the time the doctor came over to work on me I had to be numbed AGAIN and wait for that to kick in because the previous numbing had wore off from me sitting and waiting forever. I was there a total of ***four and a half hours*** for what should have been maybe an hour appointment. I voiced my frustrations to Murdock as I had left my tiny newborn baby and other children with a babysitter for the appointment and I just felt frustrated -- he sincerely apologized and explained it was definitely a scheduling error, which I get that happens. He than offered to discount that days portion 50% for the inconvenience, I assume partially because I am a life-long loyal customer. Though that was not needed I was very appreciative of that, I told him I mainly voiced my concerns so he knows his new front-staff team needs some more training and closer attention.

Fast forward, I receive my bill (that I'm 100% ready to and happily will pay whatever I owe) and it's still incorrect. Appointment one shows no insurance. Appointment two shows insurance and is fine. Appointment three shows no discounted services. I call to have them adjust it accordingly and the receptionist says they would need to verify with Murdock and due to Covid-19 he's not in the office, she said she'd note it and call me when he returned. Never get a call - get a new bill with same amount and late-finance charge. I call again, there's no notes so I re-explain everything to the new person and she says again I'll note this and call you back when I talk to him. Skip to today...no call back - and another late-finance charge. I call in and the receptionist told me that there are no notes of any call/appointment on the account and that it basically is what it is at this point. I asked her to talk to doctor Murdock about the situation, or better yet have him call me (as we have formed a personal relationship over 19+ years) and she said I would basically be better off paying my bill and moving on. She also brought up I haven't made any big "personal payments" and "had I paid out a lot to them over the past few years they might have been able to work with me more" - I asked her to explain and she said they have only gotten payments from my insurance, not from me personally....sorry I have great teeth and don't need any extra services? Dismissive and rude.

Sad because Bruce is great, but after 19 loyal years I will be moving on to a company that values the ones who keep them in business.

Dr. Searle and his staff are the best. Super friendly and they have the personal touch that’s needed from a dentist. My kids love coming to the dentist. The dr. and hygienists are awesome. Front office is supper friendly.

LOVE this office! They are fast, SO friendly, and able to assess and fix needs on the spot if needed. I'm generally not a fan of the dentist and avoid check ups if I can, but this office and staff make it painless and easy to love. Thanks Murdock and Searle dentistry!
