Cadenza Family Dentistry

I've been going to Cadenza Family Dentistry for a few years now, and I would highly recommend Dr. Sumarauw to anyone seeking a dentist!! The team from the front desk to the dental hygienists, support team, and Dr. Sumarauw are so friendly and personable. These ladies are top notch!!

I was in a situation where I needed to be seen right away. I recently moved to Utah from out of state and didn't have my insurance information together yet. I asked for an estimate on the cost of an exam and I was told it would be $88, but that I could give them my insurance information when I got that together and they could bill them and reimburse me for the difference. After the exam my bill became $260. Despite this being depressingly over the amount I was advised about on the phone, I paid it without making a fuss. I provided them with the information for my insurance the very next morning and was told they would bill my insurance and would get back to me. After not hearing back from them for a week or so, I called and got no answers. I left a message and have gotten no call back. I have attempted to call several times now, as it's been about 3 weeks now since I was in there and they never answer the phone. They must have customers in there every minute of the day, because they just do not answer when I call. I am extremely disappointed. I was referred to an oral surgeon for a portion of my treatment and his office has been a great contrast to Candenza in terms of reliability and responsiveness. I had initially asked that the two offices work together on what I need done, but I will have to insist that I look for another office to work with because of this.

This is an unacceptable way to handle a customer who you initially did wrong and was understanding.

They were soft spoken to me while I was there, but unfortunately, that's just not enough to think fondly or recommend this place in light of something as serious as this large of a discrepancy in this day and age.

That's a lot of money to a lot of people.

I went here earlier today, they were recommended by a friend. The staff was really friendly and explained what I needed to have done really well. I would definitely recommend this dental office to anyone.

They quickly fit me in for an emergency tooth issue. They entire staff was wonderful and made me comfortable.

Speaking as a previous employee, the front office was a mess. Lack of training passed from employee to employee causes neglect of patients accounts and insurance claims. Also the lack of respect and kindness she shows to her employees and loyal patients was frightening.
I witnessed dishonest Dental work often in this office including neglect of patients, doing subpar work in mouths causing them to come back with pain or sensitivity, lying about cavities (she told me I had 6 cavities, went to another dentist for a second opinion and I had zero).
Lack of time management on the doctor’s behalf creates extended wait times that can be avoided.
She overworks and underpays her employees. Which is one of the reasons the turn over rate is so high.
In conclusion, I hope that if you are looking for a Dentist to care about your teeth or for employment purposes, I’d look elsewhere.

Super friendly and very professional. They are super great dealing with dental anxiety and the dont make you feel like its abnormal. I look forward to going back.

I have had a great experience every time I have been to Cadenza Family Dentistry. I am having some major dental work done and am totally satisfied with the results.They took care of everything and do great work. I would recommend them to anyone .

My 5 year old son had a great experience at Cadenza. They took extra care to make sure he was comfortable and didn't get scared by the experience getting a cavity filled. Great job Cindy and staff. Thank you.

They are so nice at this location! I've been worked on by every member of the staff and all were so nice. Its an all female staff so if you prefer that then go to cadenza. They really make sure you aren't experiencing any pain before they fill a cavity, something that basically no other dentist has done for me. Usually they let you be in some pain because it would take forever to administer more medicine and wait, but they pull out all the stops for you at cadenza. They let you watch netflix while they work on your teeth, and send you text messages to remind you of appointments. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Dr. Sumarauw and her staff are professional, efficient, and kind. Even when I move back to Arizona next year, I will continue to come to Cadenza for my dental care needs. It's worth the 6 hour drive twice a year!
