We have been using this dentists office since moving to Layton over 10 years ago. They always do a great job. Friendly staff. TVs in ceiling so that you can be entertained while getting dental work done.

Had a few issues with this place. Two early morning appointments were cancelled last minute. The first is understandable as they said the dentist was sick that morning. The 2nd because the dentist refused to perform minor procedure unless my child was sedated, despite her receiving same care in the past without sedation. Appt was for 7:30 and they called at 7 to cancel after waiting over a week for the appt. They also push for expensive and unnecessary procedures. Child had a tooth issue and they automatically insisted he needed a root canal without first testing the tooth and nerves to see if the tooth will live. Turns out the tooth will more than likely live and a root canal is not needed. Stay away from this place unless you like wasting money, putting your child through necessary pain, and putting up with bad customer service.

I DO NOT AT ALL recommend this dentist!!!!!!
Update on 02/25/2019- my son has now had to have two of the teeth they worked on extracted due to them not removing all of the tooth decay before putting the cap on. This has caused significant pain and headache for my poor child and a costly dental bill after paying for the fillings in the first place and now paying for extractions.
*update* they contacted me and did what they could to make it right. the only reason I didn't give them more stars is because I don't understand why a filling could have fallen out so quickly in my sons situation.
My son's filling fell out in the middle of the night not even 30 days after he got it, on a weekend. He was in so much pain and the call line gives you the dentist's home phone and they don't answer or call you back. I called a different dentist that isn't an emergency dentist who got him in on a Sunday right away.

I have been taking my two boys to Hillfield Pediatric Dentistry for 6 years. I have always found them to be very honest and professional. They are great with the kids and are always helpful and thorough. I trust them with my children's dental needs as well as my own.

I wouldn't let anyone else work on my 8 year old daughter. Dr. Brown has been fantastic to us. She has children, and understands parental concerns and patient care. Lots of children's devices for taking the worry away. Parents come into the room with the children for general cleanings. Movies on the ceilings for patients as well. Good dentistry.

My mom came in for a minor surgery on her teeth a few weeks ago; after my mom was falling asleep due to the the laughing gas, one of the dentist assistants DROPPED A METAL TOOL ON MY MOTHERS NECK. She began brushing on her neck as soon as she got home. The assistant didn’t even BOTHER to ask if she was okay, she just played it off and pretended it didn’t happen. My mom just decided to pretend she was asleep, but she heard the assistant frantically panicking in the background.
She came back a few days after her surgery to file a claim, and all they did was give her a CHILIS GIFT CARD ???
My mom came back just a week ago to get her teeth checked up on, and they didn’t even get to her. She waited in there for over an HOUR, and they couldn’t even BOTHER to tell her that her “dentist wasn’t there”
She believes they were just to scared to operate on her after the first incident, I strongly agree.

Everyone is nice except one lady at the front desk that was VERY RUDE. We thought our appointment was at 3:30, so we show up at 3:12. That lady was getting after us about being late and tried to reschedule us in a bossy way. She had no manners just a bad attitude
