I have been a customer for many years and had a last minute change in schedule come up before my appointment. They would not wave the $60 fee to reschedule. If sticking to policy to collect $60 is more important than serving and taking care of a longtime patient then I wouldn't trust this place. I told them to charge me, I would rather go to a dentist I can trust. They did not hesitate with the request. Beware of their high google rating, they had an incentive a few years ago for patients to leave 5-star reviews instead of winning them organically through good customer service and excellent dental work.

Hello! I’ve been to this dentist office since before I was an adult, but now that I am, I feel like I am being overcharged immensely. Hear me out- I went into a checkup on Friday. They didn’t even clean my teeth, immediately went to xrays. After that, the dentist came in and didn’t put gloves on until he was done talking to me about my personal life for 10 minutes. Teeth still not cleaned. He goes in and starts prodding my teeth and giving me very little information on what he finds. Next a hygienist comes in and says I need a deep cleaning that I will need to be numbed for because apparently my gums are receding from my teeth. Anywho- at the end I go to setup another appt. After standing at the desk for over 15 minutes, the front desk lady said she couldn’t pull up my total estimate for some reason with the insurance, but proceeded to charge me at least $250-500 to schedule my next appt because the total cost was going to be at least $ 500-1000 dollars with the chance I might have to schedule another appointment. I didn’t receive any paperwork or receipt of payment. Just got sent home with floss and a toothbrush that they didn’t even use on me. A lot of very vague information with such high payment without any proof of purchase.
Later, I went back in and got a refund after I explained to them my situation. They said everything they could to try and get me to stay and even had the hygienist come explain how the deep cleaning is more important than a normal cleaning on a checkup because “it’s like waxing a dirty car.” ;I don’t understand how flossing a patients mouth is like waxing a dirty car. Please take care of us better :)

I’ve been going to Professional Dental since 2008, first the Payson office and now the Lindon office since 2012. They are wonderful! The office staff is super friendly, and my hygienist Sarah is so fun to visit with and does a great job. I have seen a couple different dentists in this office and have been very pleased. They are conservative in not doing work that may not need done. I’ve had a couple teeth they have put on watch and not just jumped straight to drilling and filling. I had a crown put in a few years ago and when the temporary crown came loose on the weekend, they were able to get me in to fix it on the weekend. Such great service! Highly recommend this office.

Michelle and Sariah were amazing. Michelle is very knowledgeable! She found a recess around my tooth that many had missed and that needs to be treated. Great work!

P.S.A.
Never ever EVER go to Professional Dental!!! I just went in for an appointment to get my teeth cleaned, xrays, and exam, after calling days before and finding out they would do payment plans. As I went in, they charged me $108 for the xray, cleaning, & consultation, saying they dont do payment plans?.. They told me it was the $108 for that and I was confused but agreed to the services i would get for my money and paid. Online, it stipulates a FREE exam and free xrayS. I recieved these services, but I once again, paid for the CLEANING, xrays, and consultation. After talking with the OWNER, Michelle, she pretty much told me that it was just ONE tooth and ONE xray, even after I pointed out that was false advertisment. They charged me $108 for a yearly PD instead of putting that towards my cleaning, xrays, etc. Like I THOUGHT I was paying for. Talking with the owner herself, she said they put in the notes that I was "in too much pain to do cleaning on" and never once asked me that during my appointment, because ill tell you, I wasnt in any pain other than the dentist tapping my teeth and asking if they were "tender" She refused to give me back my money and told me to blow this up so here's your nice littlw review, Michele.
Please if you ever need dental work done, NEVER EVER EVER go through this business. They are a joke and the owner herself was beligerant and refused to pay me for services not rendered, and refused to acknowledge that they did indeed use false advertisment. Seriously, ANYWHERE else is better than getting ripped off by hot headed ladies who think they can rip off customers.

So I have been goin to this place for a couple of years and they have high quality service! And Kelli was my hygienist for two of my appointments and she’s so nice! She’s the best and so easy to talk to. And she taught me how to floss with my bottom retainer... I highly recommend this place and mainly Kelli.

The receptionists and the hygienists were completely clueless! Seriously felt like they pulled people of the streets and dumped them in a dentist office.
When I called to set up an app. the receptionist first said they didn’t accept my insurance, so I checked and called again saying that they do accept my insurance. So finally I get an appointment. I show up early to fill out paperwork and they are having a meeting and don’t help me until after my appointment time. Then, the receptionist could not figure out how to print the paperwork causing me to wait longer.
Eventually, I get called back and the hygienists ask me some questions and the whisper together like they don’t know what to do. They get the dentist and he was fine and did a quick check up. He asked why I hadn’t been cleaned yet and the hygienists replied that I didn’t want one...? What? Why would I come and not want to be cleaned? So I said I wanted to be cleaned. And before they could do that, the receptionist comes back and asks if I am worried that my insurance won’t cover the cleaning. I tell him no and he continues to explain a bunch of stuff that doesn’t matter.
I have now been here an hour and have not been cleaned yet.
The hygienist showed absolutely no evidence of professional training. She had to do the X-rays over because she messed up. She didn’t know how to work the tools or how to clean teeth. She never rinsed me out and only cleaned a small part of very front of my teeth. She had to keep leaving to ask questions. The whole thing was just awkward. I stopped her halfway through flossing because I was so done. She was making me bleed a lot and would not be gentle, even though I told her I am pregnant and it makes my gums sensitive.
Left and cried my way home because my mouth throbbed and because of how awful the whole experience was. Will not be returning.

I've had to bounce from one dental office to the next over the years for a slew of reasons and this particular location is one of a kind. The staff is very courteous, honest, competent, and maintains a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My dental hygienist, Amber, does a spectacular job every single time I come in. This will be my dental office of choice for as long as I live in Utah Valley.
