Such a fun place to go to clean your teeth. Jan, the hygienist, took a moment to get to know me before cleaning my teeth. She was very kind and spent time educating me about my dental health.

I started going to swan smiles mainly because they were local and accepted my insurance. While the hygienists and dental assistants are great, every interaction that I have had with Dr. Swan has been rushed at best, and upsetting at worst. It is clear that the practice is consistently overbooked, and he shows no personal interest and is often rude.
I have severe TMJ, which has in the past has caused my jaw to dislocate. At my last appointment I informed him of that before he started working, and he said that he'd be careful. Then he pushed the tool holding my mouth open further than was okay without asking, while I couldn't do anything about it. When he stepped out of the room, I waved for help and told the dental assistant that it had hurt me, and got the response "I'm sorry, he does that". For the rest of the session she had to stop him from pushing it too far.
I've also had lots of scheduling issues. If your only need is your normal cleanings, you'll be fine going here, but if you need any work done at all, I would absolutely not recommend it.

They have always seen us in a timely manner, been so patient with the nervous little kids (and adults!), and have had very fair pricing.
The front desk if very kind and helpful, and the assistants are very friendly.
Both Swan Dentists (pediatric and general) are knowledgeable, patient, and quick.
I love that I’ve found somewhere the whole family can be seen — including work for our future orthodontia needs!

My wife used to have anxiety before to go to the dentist, and I used to lie to her where we were going for her annual cleaning to make sure she was not giving me an excuse to avoid going to the dentist. Since Dr Swan took the ownership in the Salem office, my wife is happier to go even knowing she will have a new filling to do or a root canal. I really trust my family with Dr Swan and we are happy to keep our business there.

I love Swan Smiles. All of the staff are kind, friendly and helpful. Their office is bright, modern and has the cutest decor ever. The dentist even makes balloon animals for the kids when they are done! What other dentist can say they do that?! They have been amazing with my daughters, and me while cleaning our teeth. My daughters (4 and 6) are seriously so excited when I tell them they get to go to the dentist. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Went to Dr Swan for my newborn daughters lip tie revision. He was able to get us in just 4 days! His exam was quick and the procedure went well with no complications. Happy with the service of the staff.

We’ve had a wonderful experience at Swan Smiles. Dr Swan was amazing with our 8 yr old that was a little nervous. Dr. Swan even called to check on him after, so thoughtful. The practice is very clean, friendly, helped me understand all that was done and needed to be done. Great experience. Finally found our family dental home.

We had our first appointment with Dr. Swan the new owner of Salem Smiles and we were so super impressed!! He was so great with my daughter and just made sure everything went so smooth. When we left he personally made a balloon butterfly to send home with my daughter holy cow talk about caring about his patients we thought that was so cute and beyond thoughtful of him! I also received a phone call tonight from him checking up on her to make sure she was doing good and everything was feeling good. This appointment was a pretty simple one tooth fix and he still took time out of his night to check on her!

I have waited along time to get my teeth done. Swan Smiles was so understanding about what I needed. Their assistants were great. The whole dental experience can be scary some times and they took the fear out and made my visit awesome! I would recommend them to family and friends for sure.
