Dr Swan is awesome! We have always had a great experience with him. He explains everything well and makes sure my kids feel comfortable. He goes out of his way to put children at ease. My kids don’t mind going to the dentist because of Dr Swan!

I just came from there, afterafter having a whitening session. Totally enjoyed it! I always go back because they are the painless professionals. The lady that worked on my teeth today was considerate and very conscientious about what she was doing and how she was doing it. My questions were addressed by the doctor before we started and after we finished. Great place to go for dental work!! Great staff!!

We absolutely love Swan Smiles. They really care about their paitents. Their whole staff is friendly and both doctors are great. I had my routine check up but had a question about my son who had some really bad cankers. Dr. Matt fit him in that afternoon and applied some numbing gel and told us to come back in a few days if he needed more. He did and went back and they again took care of him right away. Three weeks later I get a random call from him after hours just calling to check on him and see if he was feeling better. This showed me he really cares and remembers them by name. I don’t know many doctors who maker personal calls like that. They have taken care of every dental need we have and we would highly recommend them. We are so grateful to have a dentist we can trust. Thank you!

We initially enjoyed this office. People were friendly and they do a decent job caring for kids. The dentist seemed knowledgeable and caring.

We came in for cleanings and there was a child screaming behind closed doors. The child sounded in pain and it defintely concerned me and my kids. When the dentist came to check on us I asked if everything was okay and he replied that he was doing some fillings. If that child was screaming that much after being properly numbed and nitroused, it's probably best to do proper sedation. How could you put a child through dental work when they were clearly not coping? That child's cry was traumatic & thank God my kids never needed any work done.

A few weeks after this appt I had a dental emergency on a weekend and I called the dentist and left several messages. The dentist never called back, but only communciated via text. He did not seem to believe me that I was in severe pain and told me if he came in he would have to remove my tooth, without asking any clarifying questions or evaluating me. I ended up being able to see another dentist at a different practice who was willing to come in & help me even though I was not their official patient. I ended up having a huge infection & needing a root canal. Once that was taken care of, I was out of pain and the other dentist preserved my tooth. Needless to say, the other dentist earned my business.

The dentist here did reach out later and tried to make ammends, but it was too late by that point because my trust was broken. I needed someone to be there during that emergency. I get being on-call sucks, but in my whole life, I've only needed dental help after hours once. The one time I needed help, you were not there and no options given.

This experience taught me to ask questions when going to a new dentist and practice. If they don't have a protocol or system set up for after-hours or a dental emergency, I move on. Any dentist can do preventative care, but it's the situations like this that require mutual trust.

First visit a few weeks ago. Staff friendly. Office clean and happy atmosphere. My daughter will be starting braces so can’t comment on how happy I am with her teeth care yet, but I am feeling good about it so far:)

Both dentists have a problem of not stopping when you raise your hand letting them know that your in pain. I literally had to grab one of the dentists arms before he would stop. I find them very rough. And the stopping thing happened on more than one occasion. Yes they did explain things well but in my book the not stopping thing over ruled that. In one appointment I cried three times. Yes it was a very long and intense appointment, but even just having them inject the numbing Stuff was painful. They did it too fast and really hurt. And I haven’t ever really been a baby at the dentist until I had been worked on by these dentists. I have moved to a different dds and and am very happy with my new dentist, I didn’t even feel the new dentists numbing shots. I will never go back to swan smiles which is sad because Salem smiles was amazing.

Friendly staff! Everyone was so great to help my toddler enjoy his first time at the dentist enough to leave asking if he can come back tomorrow. We will definitely continue to bring all of our kids here!

If you have to go to the dentist (and yes you do have to), then this is a great place to go. Super friendly staff, the latest and greatest equipment, and Dr. Swan was a great person to talk to. They've taken great care of my wife and I, and even managed to make our 4yo look forward to the dentist.
