Awesome awesome awesome place! Clean and tech savvy, friendly and informative staff! I’ve only been for a cleaning and consult so far. I was blown away by how great everyone treated me, the info clips on the IPADs and the massage chairs during my cleaning. Everyone is very knowledgeable and explains exactly what is happening and give you options so that you can make the best choice for you. I highly recommend Dr. Al and his whole team!

Blue Ridge Family Dentistry seems to focus on preventing dental issues. When you get your teeth cleaned, it's like getting a car detailed. They do a thorough job, take care to keep you comfortable and are always friendly.

I had to get a tooth pulled due to decay however Dr. Al is amazing and was very calming throughout the procedure. His team is awesome and Kimberly at the front desk helped me throughout the 2 days I was there. Will return for sure!

It has been a while since I've been to see the dentist & this my first time at Blue Ridge Family Dentistry & they made my feel so at ease. I was pleasantly surprised to notice while the hygienist was going over things with me that the chair was massaging my back! They were very understanding & walked me through the whole process & answered any questions I had! I highly recommend Blue Ridge Family Dentistry!

I had the crowns on my two front teeth replaced, which was a bit nerve-wracking for obvious reasons. Dr. Almazayyen went to great lengths to make sure they were just the right shape and shade to make me proud of my smile. They appear to have all the latest technology. The office is bright, cheerful, and comfortable, and the dental assistants and front office team couldn't be nicer. Happy customer!

Very fast, efficient, kind and informative staff. They gave me an affordable and thorough treatment plan when all other dentists I'd visited before said they could do little to nothing for me.

Best dentist experience I've ever had. Very kind, sincere staff. Professional, quality work. Did not feel pressured into doing more work than was necessary. If you have insurance, they help you to figure out what it will cover before doing any procedures. Overall great experience. Highly recommend this place.

The ladies at the front desk, and the hygienists at this practice were wonderful. My routine check up, assessment and cleanings always went well. However, I, my insurance company, and my current dentist are deeply disappointed as well as confused by this dental practice and concerned for future patients who might run into the problem that I have today. This dentist does not stand behind his work. He does not give a warranty on his dental work, or repair broken crowns under a discount if they break within less that one year. Which is what happened to me. He has refused to repair a crown that he put on my back molar 11 months ago. It cracked and broke off after less than one year. He has claimed that when he placed the crown he “told me to wear a night guard, and referred me to a TMJ specialist”, however my dental records show that this was not the case. He referred me several months later and I have that in writing. If I had been properly educated on how poor quality, fragile, and delicate the crown he placed was, I would have never gotten it done at this practice, or requested a more appropriate crown for someone who clenches their jaw. My new dentist has explained to me that when placing a crown, a dentist must assess many things, one being whether the patient grinds their teeth and which crown would be best for the kind of pressure that your bite will put on it. The dentist here at Blueridge chose to put on a “same day appointment” crown that is made in the office, which I now know are weaker and more likely to crack. The crown has been cracked off and broken for 5 days now, and Blueridge Family Dental offered to repair the crown they placed in “a few weeks if they can squeeze me in”, at full price (over $1,000 when I paid for it 11 months ago already). My new dentist is fitting me in tomorrow to repair my crown WITH A WARRANTY. In addition, they are placing a crown that is much stronger, better quality, and more appropriate for my personal jaw and bite. They have assured me that should anything happen like this again, I would not pay full price, if anything, to have it replaced. I recommend choosing a dentist who stands behind their work and has their patients best interest in mind. Blueridge Family Dentistry does not. If you want good reviews, to come highly recommend, and to keep your patients within your practice, please try to do better. Of note, a family I recommended this practice to had two appointments at this practice and have already left. My husband and I will not be back, and we will not be referring family or friends to you.

Dr. Almzayyen is the greatest cosmetic dentist ever! Everything in his office is new and state-of-the-art, like visiting a spa. They offer massage chairs and sunglasses, calming yet modern music, great landscape art to admire and his services are no more expensive than any other dental practice. His staff are professional, exceptional and I admire my new crown every day it is so beautiful. He offers affordable in-house dental insurance which is a GREAT and compassionate blessing to individuals and families in our community. He is also able to do crowns in one visit (they do everything in-house like in Europe) instead of typical dentists who can take months of scheduling to do it, due to outsourcing to labs, etc. He's super awesome, the greatest dentist ever and my hero, since I am usually very anxious about any kind of dental visit in general. I have had genuinely pleasant experiences there and recommend him to everyone with the kindest of regards and professional opinion. Thanks again Dr Al: our family is filled with admiration for you and your whole office.

UPDATE: Today I had my first dental cleaning, and it was a pain-free and very pleasant experience. My crown is still as beautiful as ever. The dental hygienists are calming, gentle, very thorough, take their time and don't scrape and traumatize the teeth and gums like other cleanings I have had before, which left my gums sore and bleeding sometimes! The flossing was so gentle I didn't feel anything except happiness. They are well versed in letting you know everything they are doing so you don't feel anxiety. Again, they offered the super cool sunglasses, awesome calming music and massage chairs if it's the patient's preference. They also used gentler yet more effective type devices to gently clean the tartar off the teeth in layers, which I think other dentists don't have or necessarily do. My teeth were smooth and very noticeably brighter after only one cleaning. Again, I am convinced that this cosmetic dentistry office is newest in technology and practices. They recommended the most effective toothbrushes on the market including recommending soft brushes instead of medium or hard, which can damage the teeth- but the gums especially, eventually causing receding gumlines which I had never been told before! They had a new, state-of-the-art machine to do 360 degree x-rays and it was amazing. I actually got to see what my facial skeleton looks like! Thank you so much, again! Dr. Almzayyen is an honor to have a doctor and so is his whole team of beautiful Angelic professionals there. Seriously! My teeth, and my whole day was brightened this visit! I can't recommend enough, this dental practice with as great a review as it truly deserves!!! :-)
