Dr. Lee and his staff are superb. Not only does he make every effort and I mean every to fit you in if you are in pain, but he also thinks through big jobs and explains them to you! His staff are lively, fun, and expert and even the flower arrangements, the music, and the photos on the walls (Shenandoah Valley) contribute to a sense of pleasure at being in this office. I've been a patient for five years and can't recommend Lee Family dentistry without reservation.

5-stars, hands down. After a series of bad dentists, we ended up as patients with Dr. Lee in Charlottesville. I'm not sure how he does it, but the quality of customer service you receive as a patient is just as high as the quality of dental work he consistently provides. His staff are personable, friendly, well-trained, efficient and extremely professional. Dr. Lee himself is wonderful – his personalized treatment fixed numerous dental issues myself and my husband had suffered from for years. I truly appreciate his willingness to explain things thoroughly and always provide such high quality work in such a pleasant setting. Dr. Lee seems to truly care about his patients, his work and teeth! His passion and dedication to his craft and staff definitely shows. You will not be disappointed.

I have gone to quite few dentists in my 58 years, but I can honestly say I have never felt as comfortable or as certain of a good outcome as I have since I started working with Dr. James Lee and his team at Lee Family Dentistry. Every. Single. Member of the team is a consummate professional: efficient, competent and schooled in the most current technology and best practices, yet warm, friendly and reassuring even under the most trying and stressful conditions. They work well together, as if they have been a team for ages (which, in fact they HAVE been). Even their facilities contribute to a positive experience: the offices are beautifully serene, immaculately clean, and equipped with the latest technology and equipment.
As for Dr. Lee himself, he is a masterful practitioner, to the point that it seems more like his calling than a profession. Though I have been blessed with good dentition and am admittedly conscientious about dental hygiene, aging has brought issues which I had not expected. Dr. Lee helps me stay ahead of these issues by presenting alternatives and potential impacts, all while being being sensitive to cost.
I simply could not be happier to have found Lee Family Dentistry, and recommend them whole-heartedly and unreservedly.

Dr. Lee, Dr. Davis, every single one of their talented dental hygienists, and their front of house staff all strive to make you feel welcome, respected, and comfortable.
Really professional, you can tell their staff has continuing education (they are always sharing something new with me each time I go in for a cleaning).
They are taking tons of precautions for handling patients in post-COVID-19. It is clear they value their patients' safety and the safety of their staff.
I don't normally write public google reviews, but they are doing such a great job I just had to. I have been a patient for nearly 10 years.
