I have been going to this practice for nearly 15 years! I've seen all 3 dentists. I don't have a bad thing to say! Dr Lee just recently did some major dental work on me (bonding) & it looks amazing! If I could upload the before & after pictures I would! He went over everything with me beforehand, including the price & even contacted my insurance to see if they would pay anything since it was a cosmetic procedure, and to my surprise, they did! This practice is more than "just another practice"! They're like family! Each staff member takes time to welcome you & ask how you've been doing. They genuinely care about all their patients! Keep up the great job!!

If they gave awards ti dentists for how they interact with patients and staff, Dr. James Lee would come out victorious.
To be clear, Dr. Lee is a friend. But I live in NYC and do my dental work in Charlottesville because Dr. Lee is that good and his staff that enjoyable to be around.
He has recently updated the office as well. The ambiance is modern, light and beautiful and they appear to be fully equipped on the technology front.
Watching Dr. Lee interact with his staff should be a case study in organizational behavior.

I don’t usually write reviews and the dentist is not my favorite place to go so I figure if I find a good one I should let people know. I moved here recently from N. Va. and on a recommendation I went to Dr. Lee and am happy I did. From his staff when I walked thru the door to Dr Lee , his assistant and Kristen it could not have been a Better experience. And I didn’t even cry.

Dr. Lee and all of his staff are so wonderful! They're all so friendly and helpful, they all take time to get to know you, and I've never had a wait for my appointment. Dr. Lee is obviously very talented and passionate about what he does, and he has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry so you know you'll come out of there looking great. I am picky about dentists and I highly recommend him!

I have gone to prominent dentists in Pittsburgh, PA and the Washington D.C. area over a period of 50 years for severe congenital dental issues. Despite their great reputations and enormous expense, none of these dentists could provide me with anything even close to normal chewing function. This problem was seriously affecting my overall health with stomach issues, fatigue, jaw pain, and migraines. Dr. Lee explained what was needed and communicated it so well that it became clear to me why previous attempts had failed. I needed extensive restoration including crown work and bridges coordinated precisely to produce the correct result. Dr. Lee performed each step of the process brilliantly. I can now chew food properly for the first time in my entire life. I was astonished. I literally didn’t realize how bad my condition was until after Dr. Lee’s restoration. Not only was function restored, but the cosmetic appearance was absolutely amazing. His skill level is really remarkable, not just for the quality but also for how painlessly he executed those difficult procedures. His staff is also absolutely top notch. Everyone is patient and friendly and the laboratories he uses create beautiful and durable restorations that you are comfortable having in your mouth for the rest of your life. It doesn’t get any better than this. If you choose to see Dr. Lee, you will have made a great choice.
