True Smile Family and Cosmetic Dentistry

I've been going here for years. This place makes my routine checkups and cleanings, as well as occasional fixes, easy. Recently during some fillings, I became anxious and nauseated and Dr Trieu and his assistant were very quick to respond, patient, and accommodating before we finished the work.

Dr. Trieu has been my dentist for the past six years. He assesses my teeth after every check up to provide recommendations or updates on how I'm doing. Additionally, he has performed all of my wisdom teeth extractions. He is very knowledgeable and professional.

The staff of the office are very polite. I am always greeted with a smile and they are very quick to answer any questions I may have.

Went in for an annual checkup. As expected I had some cavities. They filled three cavities but after a day or two one of them was hurting (the tooth didn't hurt at all prior to the visit). I called them to come back in and fix it. When I went in they said to give it another week and sent me home. My tooth has just gotten progressively worse and now I need to find another dentist to fix whatever they did that was bad. Will not be returning.

DR. HAI TRIEU is so money hungry that it’s scary. If you are willing to pay a price for his recommendations outside of what you need done he becomes extremely condescending and will just walk off on you. Many said the problem is that they don’t have Aetna. Well I do and I went to see him with an issue with a tooth and he denied servicing me because he wanted me to pay thousands for a service I could not afford. If your pockets aren’t deep enough for him please don’t waste your time. I literally drove over an hour to come to this unprofessional facility and have such a terrible experience. I literally had 4 people standing over me telling me to pay or leave. It was scary!!!!

I've been going to True Smile since February 2013 and it's been great! Dr. Trieu takes his time to explain what's going on and is very knowledgeable. Staff is very friendly and very accommodating. Office is clean as a whistle. Appointments can be easily made. I've referred my coworkers and so far they've had the same good experience with them. This is a place where I can say I'm treated as a personal patient, and that means a lot to me. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Dr. Hai Trieu and the professional staff at True Smiles in Falls Church, Va. I incurred a dental crisis in the summer of 2020. Dr. Trieu assessed the damage, gave me options and encouraged me to seek a second opinion if I so desired. I trusted Dr. Trieu’s advice and experience and embarked on a journey to correct the problem. I can honestly say that I never experienced anything more than very mild discomfort, no pain at all. Dr. Trieu is very attuned to his patients’ needs and addresses anxiety and fear of pain. And far beyond their professional demeanor, Dr. Trieu and all members of his staff are kind, caring people. Best of all, Dr. Trieu gave me back my beautiful smile. I recommend True Smiles without hesitation. The icing on the cake is that the practice is easy access with close-in ample parking.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Trieu for my dental care for several years now. He’s very friendly and his explanations always make it easy for a person unfamiliar with the nitty gritty of teeth to understand. I’m always taken back on time which is greatly appreciated because ain’t nobody got time to waste! Gisela does a great job with my cleaning. I have seen other hygienists as well who are great too. All in all, the office has great professionalism and courtesy, so I definitely recommend True Smile for a pleasant dental experience.

Best dentist office i've ever been to, Staff from upper to rear echelon, professional, courteous, and ALL treated me with respect and were concerned about my pain, my comfort level, and my comprehension of the procedure i was having done, and explained to me the financial aspect of my case in detail. 5 STAR EXPERIENCE OVERALL and in today's world this is a rarity.

Hai and his team are the BEST in the smile business! BEST 'bedside" service, always on time for appointments, and just great fun people to be around for what is generally not considered a desired appointment. Hai is skilled in his craft, and always at the forefront of the latest technology and techniques being leveraged in the space. Over ten years together, and I hope he never retires!

This facility is a joke. They try to con you into unnecessary services to make money off patients. If you don’t sign paperwork for their expensive out of pocket services they will deny you service and have their entire staff standing over you. The entire environment is extremely uncomfortable and something I’d never expect at a dentist office. The Dr. emphasized to me that everything he does costs him so my family and I should expect things to cost. How disrespectful. I am with child and do not need to be under any additional stress being a geriatric carrier.
