Horrible experience! Had my children an appointment for back in March, they called and canceled the appointment because of staff meetings, then called me trying to figure out why they weren't at their appointments (that they called and canceled...still have the voice-mail) . I called and rescheduled, the appointments were made for June 22nd. We drive 30 mins to get to the appointment only for them to tell me we have to reschedule AGAIN!! Finding another dentist, they clearly don't have their stuff together!

Dr. Jen and the staff are professional and courteous. I have been there 3 times and feel comfortable asking anything re: my teeth and various procedures and receive pleasant and thorough explanations. I have had a crown done and a filling and all went smoothly with perfect results. There is more work to be done and I am not hesitant at all to return. I'm 61 and this is one of the best dental offices I have been to in my life...and who truly LIKES to go to the dentist :-). Cost of services is very reasonable as well.

Update
Today, Dr Jen and her staff solved a health problem I've had for more than two decades. I've been to probably fifty different doctors in ALL the specialities. They diagnosed new with airway centered diagnosis and posterior tongue tie. I'm very excited to work towards a healthier me!!

Me and my son had a great experience at our first dental visit with Dr. Jenn, Maggie took a great care of me, Maggie went on and beyond to make me feel comfortable she is great and super gentle. Dr. Jenn took a great care of my son with his dental treatment, she took her time to make him feel comfortable. Totally would recommend this place to my friends and family.

I was a new patient there and never went back. It took me 4 months to get an appointment with them. The hygenist was GREAT! When Dr Jen came in I felt like I was sitting in a sales pitch for a sleep study. Jen was pushing for me to sign up after looking at my teeth for maybe 2 minutes. The sleep study company happens to be RIGHT next door to her facility. She gave me a business card to set up an appointment for a study. Also, she wanted to have before/after pictures being taken of my teeth after having done a deep cleaning to post on her website. I left feeling confused and somewhat like a sideshow circus freak. I don't recommend them.

The 1st visit was very nice the kids were nervous but the girls took very good care of them and put their nerves at ease. The office was very homey and comfortable to be in. I loved the Jungle seen everywhere. By the time we left the kids were very comfortable but not very happy with the news that they had cavities. L o l

Dr. Jen is the most caring , kind and honest dentist that I ever came across ! She does a thorough job of whatever she starts doing and I never had a problem with her treatment . I would recommend her to everyone . She was like an answer to prayer for me when I had a broken tooth and other dentists that I went to see - said that it only needs to be extracted . But Dr. Jen was able to save it and fix it ! So grateful for honest and caring people like her out there . And the nurses are also all very caring and are some of the kindest people I know . There’s no better place in all of Harrisonburg better then Dr. Jen’s Gentle Dentistry

I would give it 10 stars!! Dr. Jen and her staff are absolutely wonderful! She is the first dentist that my niece (14) and nephew (17) has seen. First appointment ever at this age. She and her staff made them confident and calmed. Ment the world to me that they go beyond.

I have been going to Dr Jen's practice for many years. She has always treated me with respect and kindness. I am recovering from cancer and the radiation, along with other illnesses has been really hard on my teeth. But she keeps patiently working on them, trying to save them.
