I hate to give bad reviews, but now that I have to have my cavities redone by a different dentist, I can't not leave a review. I had several cavities filled here, with several problems, saving the worst for last: 1) They didn't leave me to get numb for more than a few minutes before they started drilling, which meant three really painful instances of me having to jump when they hurt me. 2) When they were done, my teeth were all still really rough for a couple of weeks afterward. When I went to a different dentist to have my cavities checked, they were surprised that I wasn't getting bad headaches from the way this dentist had left my bite. The new dentist fixed my bite, which relieved the tension I'd been having in my jaw because of the rough fillings. 3) Within six weeks of the cavities being filled, my gums became painful and swollen. I of course went to a different dentist, who showed me the bone loss in one tooth that was causing the pain, bone loss that Maple Street somehow missed when they took x-rays? 4) The worst: I have to get these cavities redone, because they didn't get all of the decay. I want to cry. Really? Another several hours of having cavities removed and refilled because Maple Street wasn't thorough enough the first time? If I hadn't gone to another dentist to have the cavities checked, I would have ended up needing a root canal.

All this to say, while the people here are nice, I would strongly advise that you go with someone else to avoid the pain (literal and figurative) I've ended up having with Maple Street.

The best dental experience I’ve had to date. Super friendly staff, took great care of me. They even provided me with a pillow and a blanket! Thank you Dr. Rob and Hannah. 5 star +

So glad to have found Maple Street Family Dentistry and Dr. DesRoches (one of the biggest hearted people in town)! He and his entire staff are friendly and make my appointments enjoyable but I also appreciate how detail oriented they are in always making sure my teeth look as good and are as healthy as possible.

Dr. VanDyke and staff are very professional and caring. They take the time out to discuss all of the treatment options and make the whole dental experience very comfortable. He is a very knowledgeable dentist and tries to find the best solutions for his parient. Will definitely be coming back during my 6 month checkup.

Husband went in initially to fix a chipped tooth. WEEKS later he was still in immense pain from the impromptu "cavity" work done at this first one and done appointment. Went in for a second appointment, bite adjustment and told to call in a week to look into root canal if it still hurt. Lo and behold, it did, so we called. Scheduling operator set us up with an appointment, we wrote it down and made alarms, called to confirm a few details the day of and were told not only that we were wrong about the scheduled appointment, but that we never were talked to about root canal possibilities. A third appointment for what should have been simple chip fix turned into a nightmare. My husband can't eat or sleep he is in so much pain and this dentistry doesn't have their stuff together enough to do a simple schedule. Absolutely do not go to this dentist. They're miserable.

My dental insurance changed and sadly my dentist no longer takes it. I called Maple Street to make an appointment for a cleaning. The woman on the phone was pleasant and took my information and got the info of my previous dentist so they could get my records transferred over.

I arrived at my appointment and was taken back by one of the hygienists. She informed me that they would be doing xrays and a full exam in addition to my cleaning. I let her know that my appointment was only for a cleaning. She proceeded to try to talk down to my telling me that it would be unethical for them to clean my teeth without first doing an xray since I was a new patient. (I have been seeing my previous dentist for regular xrays and cleanings so they should have had those records.) I wasn't happy but I agreed to it and told her that she should pass along that they needed to make that clear when new patients call to make an appointment. She asked who I spoke to?!?! I'm sorry but I don't make it a habit to write down the name of the person making my dentist appointment. When I told her I didn't know she said she couldn't pass my feedback along without knowing because there are FOUR OTHER PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE. Ummmmm how about pass it along to all four of them? At that point I had had it with her and decided that this was not the office for me.

On my way out she misled the man at the desk and did not explain the situation to him. He thought I was leaving because I didn't want the full exam when in fact I was leaving because of the horrible way she handled the situation. I had no problems with the gentleman at the front desk. The hygienist needs some classes on customer relations.

Now off to continue my hunt for a new dentist. :(

The most compassionate people I have ever meet. They took me in at a very vulnerable state and made me feel comfortable and like I was apart of their family. I have had bad experiences before and was scared to come in and regret not going sooner.

When I first went in, I was suffering from dental anxiety. The staff was very understanding. They gave me all the options, and helped me walk through it.
