Finding the office was very easy and there is just the right amount of parking. The staff at Pickens Family Dentistry was so dope. They were all very friendly and quick to help me as soon as I entered. I went in for a teeth whitening that I scheduled that morning and they made time for me same day. The Dental Assistant Aly who did my whitening was very professional efficient and methodical. I made complete sense when she told me she had been doing this for almost 20 years! Knowing that his staff were so experienced made my visit a lot more relaxing. I knew I was in good hands. In my 1.5 hr visit, my teeth were 2 shades whiter and made me regret ever buying teeth whitening kits in store and online. Dr. Drue also came to see how I was doing a couple times which made me realize how much he cares about his patients. Best dentist office I have been to with a welcoming staff. No need to search for a dentist because I found mine! 10/10 would recommend!

I had a terrible experience at a different dentist office the week prior, so I called to have a second opinion exam done at Pickens. The staff at Pickens is absolutely amazing, took the time to listen to my concerns from the previous dentist, and did a very thorough exam. My exam at Pickens had a completely different treatment plan and my estimate was vastly different than I received at the previous dentist. So far, my experience has been great, and I have been recommending them to everyone! They even have a comfort menu including aromatherapy, blankets, music, Netflix, and eye massaging masks. They are comforting, compassionate, and I would definitely consider them to be super affordable.

The staff at Pickens Family Dentistry is phenomenal! From the time that you enter the front door until you leave you deal with a professional staff that makes you feel so comfortable. They are personable, knowledgeable and always wear a smile! I’m always pleased with the new innovated services that they provide. Just knowing that they are growing with technology makes me feel like I am receiving the utmost in cutting edge services. Extending thanks to Dr. Pickens and his staff!

Dr. Pickens and his staff are truly fantastic and made me feel so comfortable and well taken care of despite my anxiety about dentistry due to terrible childhood experiences.

Each staff member had read my entrance paperwork where I described my history and anxiety around dentistry. The dental assistant introduced herself and talked with me about what had brought me in and more about my dental history. After that she gave me a blanket and started the aromatherapy before taking X-rays and the 3D modeling. She was warm and attentive the entire time checking on me several times during my brief wait for Dr. Pickens.

Dr. Pickens started by discussing what brought me in, what I wanted from a dentist, and again discussed my history and anxiety. He was very kind, well spoken, and helped put me at ease. He then examined my teeth with his assistant making notes. After his exam he used the 3D modeling as a basis to have an interactive conversation with me showing me issue that he saw with my teeth and what/why he recommended each part of his treatment plan. The 3D model helped me see and understand each issue. I was surprised with how willing he was to spend time with me making sure I understood and was comfortable with everything.

After finishing with Dr. Pickens the billing specialist helped me schedule my follow up appointments. I was recommended to get alignment work done and she even volunteered to ask about my companies orthodontics care plan after I said I would likely make the change in anticipation of needing the extra coverage. She explained that often the added coverage is for the family of the primary plan holder often with no difference for the plan holder and offered to help me understand which plan would be best for me.

On my way out she introduced me to the other people working in the office in case I work with them in the future. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. By the end of the visit I was excited to have everything done which for me was massive.

I would without hesitation recommend Dr. Pickens to anyone whether the dentist is a second thought or a major anxiety inducing event (like me).

Rona is absolutely incredible! So patient & kind; she enjoys her job and it shows. She brings calm and confidence and i could not appreciate her more. Lauren also made me feel so welcomed and explained the insurance and billing side of things so well, which made the whole process so much less stressful. The team at Pickens really is the best.

I chipped a front tooth over the weekend. I called the office of Dr. Pickens & Lauren was able to fit me into their busy schedule first thing Monday morning! The office is very nice and Exceptionally clean. I felt very comfortable in my exam with Dr. Pickens & his assistant. He seemed to genuinely listen to my concerns, and gave me conservative options to repair my tooth in the very near future. I feel grateful I have found Dr. Pickens & his conscientious team. The dentist and his team were respectful and kind. I was nervous & they put me at ease. Although I’ve only been to this office once, I believe I have finally found a dental office to meet my needs. Dr. Pickens and his team helped me overcome my deep fear of dental work. They are always so kind and patient, and their new addition of a laser for some of the dental work they do allows them to be even MORE amazing! The laser that was used to fill my cavity was 100% painless and required no novocaine injections. The team walked me through every step of my dental work needs. Dr. Pickens hands down it’s the best dentist I’ve ever had! His staff are equally as awesome. If you are the slightest bit nervous about getting dental work done they are the team to work with.

The staff at Pickens family dentistry is extremely professional. Their main goal was to keep me relaxed knowing that I have a problem with dentistry. They were more than willing to answer any questions I had and were very patient with me. extremely good dental experience.
