I had an appointment scheduled for 12/15/21. When I arrived receptionist ask for my name gave it to her. Thats where the good ended again. She proceeded to tell me that I owed 147 dollars before we get started. I was there for a cleaning nothing else insurance pays for that. The lady that sat behind her proceeded to come over to look at the paper and told me I had an ongoing procedures for gingivitis. Not a single person ever told me that it was an ongoing treatment that I was going to have to have after the first treatment. If a patient does not want that treatment they have a choice not to have it done. You can't force procedures on people. The lady proceeded to tell me if I wanted to be seen at this office I had to take treatment I had no options. I have options and I walked out door. This is second time they tried this first visit ever they gave me a tooth brush rechargeable said here is a tooth brush for you. Then I get a bill for 119 dollars for the toothbrush once again no explanation and trying to get money off you. Very sad very sad

Went into this office, seen by a staff who sensed caring. Took the images they needed. The Dr steps in. Does not even look at me, stays literally 45 seconds Makes her opinion and walks away. The Dr has no respect for those who she is suppose to assist. She was unprofessional and lost my trust on the spot.

My experience with Aspen Dental was very good. Staff made you feel welcomed and they were welcoming you from the front door to the end of my appointment. Thank you Aspen Dental.

I broke a tooth in a denture. The VA couldn’t repair it. A local dentist they recommended couldn’t get to it for weeks and wanted hundreds of dollars. Liberty dental was the same. I called Aspen on a Friday and got in on Monday. There was no exam fee, just $119 for the repair, and I got it back in three hours. They were nice and professional. I can’t speak to the rest of their work, but if I ever need anything of this nature again, I’ll be back. Why wouldn’t I?

The dentist just looked at the X-rays. Didn’t do any kind of exam and said we need to pull your teeth. No other options were given, no options for after the teeth were pulled. She was rude and insulting. I’ll get a second opinion.

I scheduled an appointment with Aspen as they are a preferred provider for my insurance. When I arrived they informed me I owed $482. They were not able to accept my insurance as there was a computer problem with the “fee group”. I was told I would have to file a claim and get reimbursed from Blue Cross. I get it, things happen so I paid my $482. As I was waiting I called Blue Cross Dental to find out how to file claim and what paperwork I needed from the Dentist (I live an hour away and wanted to avoid a 2nd visit). They said they would fax the fee group info immediately. The clerk said that could not happen, it had to be done on a corporate level. Okay, Then BC said they just needed to print the claim form so the dentist could sign it after my visit. The clerk told me they would not do that either. I then asked for my $$ back. The clerk told me they could not do that either, they would submit a request to their corporate office and it might be 10-14 days to get my money back. This was a very pleasant conversation, the young lady was very nice, might even be a great dentist. But the office management is a nightmare. Oh and the “Office Manager” would not even come out and speak to me. The clerk had to keep running back and forth.

I can not and will not recommend this place to anyone!!! When I went in for a cleaning, I was told I HAD to pay up front for a deep cleaning and gingivitis treatment!!!! I DO NOT have gingivitis and if your teeth are properly cleaned, unless you have some serious gum issues (I DO NOT) a regular, thorough cleaning is all that is sufficient. All they do is scam people. My insurance was billed for procedures I didn’t even have done!
The “tech” guy that works on partials and dentures was “trained”, no Professional schooling!
He ruined my partial and when I went back to talk to him about it, I was put in a room and left for over an hour. I had one of the OFFICE STAFF tell me he wasn’t even there... HE WAS IN JAIL!!!!! SOUTHERN REGIONAL JAIL, for DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!!!!!
So... my partial was worthless, ruined and my insurance portion was used, not to be available to me again for a partial, for 5 years! Dr.( I choke trying to address her as such)Nichols is the rudest, most unprofessional, arrogant witch that I’ve ever encountered!!
You better beware.... what they tell you to your face, is NOT what you are ultimately charged.
If they are trying to make a name for themselves, little do they know.... THEY HAVE!!!!
Word of advice.... Be honest and up front with the customers, they are your payday. Dr. (choke) Nichols, you are no better than anyone else, step off of your pedestal. By all means, hold staff development meetings and make sure everyone is on the same page... at least in the same book. Be the “PROFESSIONALS” that you want to be treated as.
Please know people read reviews these days.......

Regarding my Dentist (Dr. Stephanie Nichols)….I give her 5 Stars. I am impressed with her.
The problem I am having is with the billing to my insurance regarding a certain treatment, and a co-payment that I keep getting statements on. I don't believe I ever received the treatment in question. I treatment record will speak for itself...I am confident I never received such treatment. And, after reading other reviews on this site, I believe I am being done the same way as others with (are you kidding me treatments...that I have never had to have in my lifetime)! My insurance (which changes to another provider effective 1/1/21), hasn't paid anything according to Aspen's statement. This supposed treatment was done 8/21/20!! I have received 4 statements with the disputed charge, and each time I have called to discuss the bill, only to be told I will receive a call back, which I never have. I have a co-payment of $29.00 that was billed to me in September 2020. I even went to the office in October to discuss this bill, in the middle of the day, and the office was locked, with a sign to call their number...I did call the number, only to get their voice mail. Looked like the lights were off, and nobody was home. After I got another statement, I called this past Monday (12/14/20), and was told the same thing, that a Supervisor would call me. I am quite frustrated with this office.
My concern is, my current insurance is being shifted to another provider 1/1/21. Wake up Aspen Dental.
