We chose SMILES for my sons oral tie evaluation & revision because of the numerous recommendations online and in person that I received about them. Really impressed with the team there. The lactation consultant/nurse was so friendly and personable, I felt like I’d know her my whole life. The doctor is very genuine and knowledgeable. During the examination they stopped several times asking if we had questions making sure we were completely comfortable & understood everything. There was also absolutely ZERO pressure to have the revision done, but in my sons case, we clearly wanted to for his health and well being. I immediately noticed improvements with my sons nursing and how he was able to latch so much better with the ties released. I highly recommend this place if you have oral tie concerns with your baby, I cannot say enough good things about them!

Recently had my infants tongue, lip, and cheek ties released. Dr. Chris and his team were great! They made sure I was informed, and showed me the issues inside her mouth before performing the procedure. They were very friendly and were not pushy, leaving the decision on if and what I wanted to fix. There were no issues and everything healed great. Highly recommend to anyone looking to have these issues fixed

Great team! They provided a plan for a healthy mouth and good smile. I’m excited and look forward to working step by step to complete the plan. It’s good to know what’s required and have a plan. My dental health is as crucial as my physical health. I’ve neglect both. The staff wasn’t critical. Kristine devised a plan of attack and I left the office feeling hopeful. Can't overstate how wonderful Dr. Peterson and his team were to work with. We went for a possible tongue and lip tie, and boy do I wish we had followed up the first time I was given their name! Our whole experience was pleasant from Julie the receptionist who resent my paperwork and stated, "maybe I did something wrong!" even when I was the dummy who clearly overlooked the link she sent, to Acacia's assessment of our baby's eating habits, to Doctor Peterson's kind explanation of the issues. Their team took wonderful care of our little boy, gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision on treatment, and there was absolutely zero pressure for us to act on their recommendations.

I was sent to DP Smiles for tongue, lip, and cheek tie revisions on my 6 week old baby. Dr. Chris was amazing. He really took time to educate and inform me about how ties affect babies and development and helped me make sense of why the ties were disrupting our breastfeeding journey. At our followup appointment, Acacia was incredibly helpful and found a nursing method that worked for me and my baby. After 6 weeks of drowning in stress about feeding my child, DP Smiles helped us completely turn around our breastfeeding journey in literally one week. Cannot recommend enough!

Excellent.. I felt very good about our appointment. My one-month baby had two ties that needed to be released - we had a good feeling about both of the ties going into today, as far as knowing they were there. I was a nervous wreck, but I think I cried more than my child did. Dr. Peterson was very knowledgeable and resourceful.

Dr. Peterson and his whole staff were very friendly and educational. When we found out that our 2 week old Daughter had a lip and tongue tie, Dr. Peterson came highly recommend by many friends. They made us feel comfortable through our whole process.

I understand firsthand now why Dr. Peterson at De Pere Smiles and the Tongue Tie Institute of Wisconsin is so highly recommended. I am so glad I listened to the reviews, and am able to make my own 5-star review of Dr. Peterson and his team. My daughter needed her tongue tie revised along with the release of three additional ties at 11-weeks old after a prior unsuccessful scissor release. It was a very low-stress experience apart from hearing your baby cry briefly. Numbing ointment was applied, the procedure was done in minutes, and I was able to nurse her shortly after. Dr. Peterson and Anne, RN, IBCLC, were extremely kind, professional and knowledgeable. They absolutely set you up for success by demonstrating and educating you on the required stretches to be performed at home, provide a follow-up appointment, and offer an open line of communication if issues were to arise. I don’t wish that my future children have oral ties, but I rest assured knowing where to receive high quality care from the start next time.

The hygienist was very friendly and very complete in her work. She explained and answered questions very well.
The Dr was just as good. I would recommend your firm to everyone.
