The staff was amazing. I was very uptight about getting my teeth done and they put me right at ease. The dentist himself was great also. Checking on me often

The doctor I had was wonderful. Unfortunately that was the only pleasant experience. My hygienist was extremely rude. She would loudly sigh or say “oh god” as she scrapped my teeth, complaining along the way. She roughly moved my head back and forth as needed. She continued to rudely complain about my apparently very unclean teeth. (I routinely go to the dentist) it increasingly became embarrassing and I felt like I was being scolded like a child as she exclaimed that I was going to “lose my teeth” at the rate this was going. It was truly horrible and demeaning. But the doctor said- no cavities, no issues. It was degrading. I will be looking for an new office moving forward.

My experience with Dr. Tregoning and the staff at Midwest Dental on Tree Lane over the last 15-20 years has always been positive. The staff is personable, knowledgeable and professional. They have always provided skilled professional services and advice. Cost estimates are given for recommended dental work, and there has been no pressure to proceed with recommended work. I give them two thumbs up.

All staff provided an excellent experience.... Appointment set up and reminders, fast and easy check in and check out. The teeth cleaning was very thorough and l appreciated the consultative tips for my oral care. The Dentist was very pleasant to work with too. She provided a great exam and took an interest in my questions.

Long time patient, but recent experience was poor. I was scheduled for my twice yearly teeth cleaning, but it was scheduled within the 6 month insurance req; this would mean I would end up owing patient responsibility. I expect the office to account for that prior to scheduling my visit. Was expecting the office to write off that balance and go through the cleaning given it was not my fault that it was scheduled incorrectly. What's worse is that this also means that I lose out of my second cleaning benefit for this year.

I have had a total of 3 appointments.
My first appointment was a consultation that basically asked about my dental history. I confirmed that I had a crown that was a year old, and it needed some fixing. After taking x-rays they referred me to an endodontist for further confirmation that nothing was wrong. Which nothing was wrong because the endodontist checked my history and x-rays. He even asked why I was there! I had no idea.
My second appointment was a teeth cleaning. The hygienist was rude and did not listen to me. She asked if I had pain, and I said yes. She told me I should have said that to the endodontist. I said my tooth didn't hurt, it was my gums. And she told me I should have said that my previous appointment with them. Even though I DID.
Two weeks later, my third appointment was to fix my crown. The girl asked how my root canal went from my recent endodontist visit... to which I responded that it happened 10 years ago. She laughed, and proceeded to numb me up. We were getting ready to work when the dentist said that my crown looked brand new. I said it was a year old. And he said because it was so new, my insurance might not cover the cost.. So they stopped the appointment, and sent me home.
I cannot believe how many times I told these people of my history and what is causing me discomfort. All in all, they invalided my pain and wasted my time because they didn't do their job. In past experiences with my dental offices, they are thorough with checking dental history and communicating with my insurance, and myself. Meaning before they schedule an appointment for a fix, filling, or operation, THEY CONFIRM WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY. I wasted my time going to this appointment, and now my mouth is numb.

Its been >10 years since I've been to the dentist, so naturally I was a bit worried. After a thorough initial X-ray assessment, I had an apt for the work needing to be done, a thorough cleaning and cavity fills.
My hygenist Jen really knocked it out of the park. The clarity with which she was able to explain the problems that are present, why they happen and how I should prevent them from getting worse was the best experience I've yet had at a dental office. And of course she really cleaned up a number of trouble areas, I could tell instantly after looking at them. Sooooo much better. I would recommend this place to anyone. Going back next week for a bit more work. Am I concerned??? Not anymore...
If you were holding out, don't hesitate, it only took an hr, a bit of pain and my teeth and gums feel much, much better and now I know what to do to prevent any further damage!
