I stopped going to the dentist because of my fear of needles and the impending pain I knew was coming. I met Dr. Joel in a golf outing and my wife actually went to him before I did. She then made my appointment and I went. Everything went better than I thought. When it came time to come back and have the "real" work done Dr. Joel used a different technique before using the needle than I ever experienced before. As long as my eyes were closed, I hardly knew what was happening. The work performed is always strived towards perfection, my mouth feels better (still more work to do), and the staff is very courteous. I love that they call to remind you of your appt and if you want to get in earlier, they call you when there is a cancellation. I drive back to Waukesha from Peoria, IL to visit my dentist. Thats how good he is.

Great place. Very friendly and very good at providing care. Over the years I've had everything from a cleaning, to a cavity filled, to a root canal here and every experience was a positive one. Absolutely recommend.

They are requiring me to do a multiple visit ultra sonic cleaning that costs me $500 out of pocket and my insurance is kicking in $400 for a total of $900. When I expressed I didn’t have $500 to spend on a tooth cleaning that should be covered under my insurance they are refusing to see me to have a cleaning unless I do that ultra sonic cleaning first. They suggested I break it up over multiple visits so I don’t have to pay the $500 all at once. I feel like this is not providing good patient care to refuse me service and now I get to find a new dentist and put off my cleaning even longer.

Dr Karen changed my Life.. I had a serious injury to my mouth and jaw years ago and could never do anything for several reasons.. but She totally put me back to new... better than new.. the staff is the best. they actually care... you feel it. best thing i ever did was walk though your doors. thanks! I had a bad experience with a previous dentist and ended up having to get a root canal because of the mess up. I was able to get in with Dr. Joel within the week. The staff is very friendly and he made sure to answer all of my questions and made me feel very at ease (hard to do when I've had such bad experiences with other dentists in the past). He made up a plan for me and included prices, etc. He referred me to a specialist for the root canal but did the xrays and filing down and the crown work. Their office is pretty updated - they are able to make their own crowns there and have computers to kind of show you what they'll be doing. You can watch tv in the rooms, which definitely helps keep your mind off of what they're doing. Their schedule is pretty flexible too, which is really nice considering I have a weird work schedule. I also appreciated the fact that they understood I could only have so much work done before my insurance wouldn't cover any more. He let me know what my best options would be and was okay with me waiting for other services.

I had the most pleasant dental procedure of my life today. Got a "one visit" crown (I watched it being made). Dr.Joel Jahimiak is a craftsman. I didn't even feel the "needle"! The office staff is very helpful. Evening hours are very convenient.

A filling of mine fell out on a Sunday (filling by another dentist), and I called CFD on a Monday, and had an appointment set for Tuesday. How fast is that!? Long story short, this is a very professional and friendly place to get your teeth fixed. I'm so happy I went, and would recommend CFD to anyone and everyone, period.
