My visit to Dr. Morrissey's office, as usual, was great. Everyone is always pleasant with smiles when I walk in the door. Kristi, her assistant, was so nice, sweet, and helpful. She cleaned my teeth with no problems and advised me about things I needed to know. I'm sure there are some people that dread going to the dentist but if they went to see Dr. Morrissey , they wouldn't.

My hygienist was kind and professional. She did a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Barkley always does a great job and she's very thorough with her exam.

As always, Dr. Barkley and her team are efficient, explaining as they go along. I received needed information and options on the next procedure as well. She’s very good with the numbing injections. Very little pain. I was worked into her schedule on short notice. She and her staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. I absolutely trust them with my dental care.

I have been a patient of Hoover Family Dentistry for years and saddened that I will now end my time there and move to another Hoover dentist.
On my last visit, I was unable to get an X-ray due to finding out that I was expecting and hadn't had my first doctor's appointment yet. As you know, you cannot get an X-Ray early on in your pregnancy. Unfortunately taking an X-Ray was more important to Dr. Morrissey than the well being of my child. Her words to be exact were, "Well if you find yourself not pregnant, come back and have your X-Ray taken." She chose to say this statement to me twice...I'm not sure why she felt that it was okay to speak to a patient this way, especially another woman. It hurt me to my core.
What makes this story worse, is that the appointment prior to this, I was expecting and we lost our baby...which I shared with her that day, but it didn't stop her from saying those very hurtful words.

First time to this practice and was very impressed! Hygienist was very meticulous with the cleaning, dentist was personable and professional, and the overall office was welcoming. I’d say the care and equipment was a mix of “old school” and modern and just right! The office was busy but efficiently processing patients, and I had no wait. Dr. Barkley seemed concerned about the health of my teeth but not trying to sell me on every “up service” and unnecessary procedures. Highly recommend practice.

I love this place. They have my loyalty. I am very confident with what they tell me and I trust their expertise. I’ve been to dentists where I felt like they were trying to just do procedures for money. The staff at Hoover Family Dentistry is very warm and welcoming. They are honest. I love the decor and they have all the newest equipment. It is VERY clean. Their location is convenient. I cannot think of even one bad thing about this place! Perfect! I recommend this place to everyone!!!

Needing a dentist in close proximity to my mom-in-law's Assisted Living facility, we tried Hoover Family Dentistry due to the excellent reviews I read of them. Our first visit with them left me more than impressed! They treated my 91yr. old mom-in-law with the utmost patience, kindness and time and attention, not just to her teeth, but to her as a person! Dr. Barkley and Christy were amazing!
