Apex Dental

Very unhappy and disappointed with this office and its staff. I had broken off a tiny binding on my front tooth (a very very small corner of the tooth). I called first and was told that they were 100% in network for me, a hospital employee. I was so excited because I had a family trip the next day and wanted to look nice for pictures. Once I got there I was seen and assessed for about five minutes. I was told the fix could be done and would take only a few minutes more but that I had to sign papers and pay over $300 upfront!!!!! I was so confused. Now come to find out that I am NOT in network and insurance will not cover. I am shocked, but I politely decline any further action as $300 for a nearly microscopic binding is absurd! The dentist offers a payment plan and discount, which was very nice of him, but I still declined and went on my way. I found a wonderful office nearby that DID accept my insurance and the minor procedure was taken care of. Now I'm getting a bill for $43.00 from Apex when absolutely nothing was done for me! I was NOT informed of any payment that would be directed to me after I left the office. I assumed, just as in any medical office, I was being assessed and would be allowed to make an informed decision about getting the procedure without any strings attached. I have been to other dentists and never received such bad treatment or deception. The woman I spoke with on the phone was very matter-of-fact and had no empathy towards my concerns. I even explained that I was not trying to be argumentative or rude, but that I simply didn’t understand how I could be charged like that. Now that they have my information, I have had countless calls to my phone from Apex wanting to find out if I want to be scheduled for an annual cleaning, but no calls resolve the problem with this bill. Apex is absurd and relentless. This issue will be brought to the BBB.

I was in need of major dental work and decided to use Dr.English biased on reviews I found on line. My family needed a dental provider as well but I wanted to wait to see how my experience was before scheduling for family members. Dr. English and staff were warm and welcoming and answered any questions I had. Most importantly no wait and was in and out in no time. We have found our new dental home.

The most professional, friendliest and most talented dentist and assistants I have ever been under the care of. I highly recommend them to all. They’re phenomenal!

My Husband and I have been going to Apex for the past 3 years and have always had a positive experience. Ashley, the receptionist went above and beyond to help me reschedule my appointment for a time that worked for me. Dr. English and his staff are always very friendly, knowledgeable and energetic. I went to apex dental as an emergency abcessed tooth. I loved the calm professional atmosphere. They put my priorities first. So accommodating!! Definitely a place to return to.

Friendly, welcoming non-judgmental staff (I've been a slacker and hadn't been to a dentist in years). Stacie was my dental hygienist today. She is very patient, nice; my teeth feel great and are sparkly clean! Dr. English is great and I am excited to have found a permanent place for my dental care.

Dr. English has been my dentist for years! He does amazing work, is super sweet, & is very gentle! He always takes his time to explain everything to me (even if I have lots of questions)! I have followed him to his new office in Madison, and it is so nice! He has some advanced technology that I had never seen in any other dental office before! They used a 3D Scanner on me and it was so neat! No more of that yucky pink stuff in the trays to get impressions anymore! I love it! Very happy to make Apex Dental my new choice in dental care!

Dr. English and his staff are professional and considerate. I walked in to make an appointment and was impressed wirh his staff, cleanliness of the office, and efficiency in care for patients. He was able to provide a filling in roughly 15 minutes, no pain! I recommended him to two friends immediately upon leaving his office. Highly recommend Dr. English for all your dental care.

Apex Dental staff are super nice and very professional. They put your needs first. Dr. English is the best dentist I have ever had work on my teeth. I have total trust in him and his staff's ability.

Dr. English did a root canal for me a couple of weeks ago. Although a dental procedure is obviously not the most pleasant experience, he and his staff made me feel comfortable and helped calm my nerves. He was extremely thorough with great attention to detail, and he was not rushed at all, he took all the time he needed to do the job as perfectly as it could be done. The technology they have at the office is top of the line, and after only a few days they received my permanent crown and I was able to have it put on during my lunch break. I loved that I did not have to wait in the waiting room on either visit. I highly recommend this business and I am returning next week to begin annual cleanings!
