Dr. Smith and his staff are friendly, always on time and take time to answer my questions (dental and billing). I love the fact that his staff has been with him for many years. You don’t have a different hygienist everytime you get your teeth cleaned (which I had at other dentists). Their professionalism and dedication to their patients is top notch.

Rocky Ridge Dental has the greatest staff, very professional and courteous. Doctor Smith takes time to make every patient feel important, explaining the procedures and being extremely caring and gentle.

As a dentist myself, I know how to discern high quality dental work. I can honestly say that Dr. Smith and his team are true masters at achieving the very highest standard of dentistry available in our profession! I totally trust Dr. Smith to help me keep my teeth for the rest of my life! The support team at Rocky Ridge Dental is excellent, as most have been with Dr Smith for many years; they know how to take care of the person attached to the teeth as well! I couldn’t be happier!!

Today my daughter and I had the best experience here. The staff was absolutely amazing. They were so kind and personable. From the moment we walked in we felt so comfortable with everyone. I was extremely impressed with our dentist. He made us both feel right at home. He sat down with us and explained everything in detail. For all of you (like me) that procrastinate in making a dental appointment, you have to visit Dr. Smith’s office! I had to have an old filling replaced. To say I was dreading it was an understatement. Dr. Smith and his team put me at ease immediately. He used an incredible device that completely took away all injection site discomfort. I could watch the procedure on a monitor, AND be entertained by Dr. Smith’s stories. In the Covid environment we now live in, I was also completely comfortable in the techniques they used to ensure safety. Many thanks to the precious front desk staff, my hygienist Mary who took on the challenge of cleaning my teeth (you were so patient with me!), and of course Dr. Smith and his fabulous assistant. Job well done!

Dr. Roy Smith is professional, thorough, gentle and his care for his patients' overall health is evident! Mary has been my hygienist for all these years as well and she does such a thorough and wonderful job! In fact, all of the staff are friendly and helpful.

The world seems to rage about us, especially the political world. That is why it so refreshing to go to Rocky Ridge Dental Associates where one is always greeted with a warm and genuine welcome and treated like a much loved friend. - My wife and I have just had our teeth cleaned at Rocky Ridge Dental Associates by Mary and Alice and then examined by Dr. Roy Smith. Before choosing Roy Smith I never looked forward to going to a dentist. Now it is always a very happy experience. Roy and his staff always seem so delighted to see us, and I always come away energized from being with such pleasant people who treat us like very special friends.

I have seen Dr. Smith since I was a teenager. He was introduced to my mother by my Orthodontist as the best cosmetic dentist to form my front teeth. We couldn't afford ceramic so 15 years later when they needed to be replaced, my dentist in Mobile looked in my mouth and said, "Oh, I can't do that good of a job." Luckily we moved back to Birmingham when I could afford Ceramic veneers and get my front teeth back to beautiful. Not only is he an exceptional dentist, Dr. Smith and his staff are wonderful people who treat you like family. I highly recommend Dr. Smith to everyone.
