Always love my visits with Alaska smiles! Morgan is extremely friendly and greets me at the door! Brook took care of my teeth cleaning and we always have amazing conversation. Dr. Johnson has wonderful chair side manners and it’s always nice to catch up! I will be giving birth next year and they asked me to bring my baby in for my next visit. Their office feels like family, THATS what keeps me coming back and I love it!

Our family has been going to Alaska Smiles for a number of years. This latest visit for me was for a simple cleaning; Brook handled the task from start to finish, which was about 25 minutes. I believe that we could have been finished faster, but we were talking and laughing throughout the cleaning process! What a way to turn a bland job into a most pleasant procedure!! Alaska Smiles is the best dental experience I have ever had! From Morgan at the front desk to Dr. Johnson, every single person there is knowledgeable and friendly. I have sensitive teeth. I’ve never had a more enjoyable and comfortable experience getting fillings because Dr. Johnson listened to me and cared. More dentists should be like him.

I have never experienced anything less than absolute professionalism, competence, and gentleness at Alaska Smiles. I'm very sad to be leaving Alaska after finally finding a dental group I not only trust, but actually like. I have had some pretty traumatic dental experiences in my life, and this place made me feel comfortable and fixed me right up with no extra trauma. Thank you, Alaska Smiles! I'll miss you!

I went to the dentist for the first time in 10 years. It’s painful and it isn’t fun. Being 10 years I ended up with some work that needed to be done. Morgan, at the front desk was amazing with welcoming me and explaining the billing. Lubya, who gave me my examine was gentle, taught me a trick about taking my mind off things and put up with my squirming. Dr Johnson was awesome explaining what was wrong and why I needed it fixed. And Brooke, the hygienist, was absolutely outstanding. Highly recommended these guys if you need a dentist. There are tvs on the ceiling (much better than the stupid Garfield poster from my youth) and a massaging chair with a warm towel rolled behind your neck. Completely different than the dentist from your childhood who had a hook and saw hanging on the wall. I’m not looking forward to going back for my filling, but I am not worried about coming back here.

Nice people, pleasant environment. X-rays are usually quite painful for me because I have excess bone formation on my jaw under my tongue (tori). Dental X-rays are usually a painful process, resulting in abrasions on my gums. Not here. They knew exactly what to do to work around it.

The staff was amazing! The assistant was so friendly and explained everything she was doing. The doctor was so kind, helped me not feel bad about my teeth, and walked me through all the problem spots he saw and what the treatment plan was. He did a great job fixing them and the service was outstanding. I am totally going back to them and I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a wonderful dentist. Thank you Ak Smiles! You guys are great!
