bty DENTAL - Mountain View

I am neither happy or sad therefore I will be brief. My visit was good. No needles this time.

We are traveling from MN and unfortunately my husband ended up with a dental emergency - he had throbbing pain on several teeth/jaw like it was infected and needing a root canal (has happened in the past so he knows what it feels like). After calling around, they were able to get us in same day which was nice (unfortunately the positive stops there)

They took x-rays but not of all the teeth my husband said hurt and told us he just needed some filings and that one of the teeth was fractured and would need a crown but not a root canal. They mentioned they wouldn't be able to get the crown in place for several weeks (which isn't an option for us when traveling) and that they wouldn't even do a temporary crown to help him with his current pain unless he committed to the full (ik dentists can do temporary crowns I've had it done)

He ended up getting three filings with them that they recommended (and was harassed by the technician lady to do more even though the dentist didn't recommend it).

Long story short, when he got out he was in even worse pain as before because 1) the novacaine barely worked cause most of it went in his mouth vs his gums when they applied it 2) he had extra soreness from fillings he didn't need 3) like he told them, he actually needed a root canal on a few teeth.

My husband spent the whole night in absolute agony until we could get him into a competent place the next day, who promptly gave him the two root canals on the actually problematic teeth.

All this place did was waste our time, make it worse, and cost us $1200

Would not recommend

Horrible experience. My 8 YO son had his teeth worked on and the dentist burnt him with “ etchant” then the dentist (Dr Chou )tried to minimize it by saying that his lip got irritated. She was very careless. I would NOT recommend this dentist office to anyone ( Tudor Glacier Dental)

My son had the best dental experience here with Dr Cho. They were informative, quick and thorough. He didn’t complain once and left with a smile. Thank you BTY Dental for being amazing! I’m recommending you to everyone!!!

They did a pretty good job and they were fast and accepted whole my family!

I love them they had room for everyone in my household to be seen so I didn't have to make multiple appointments, my daughter was not to happy to switch dental offices but that soon changed they made her feel comfortable she had no pain they were very attentive also when everyone was finished they all made sure we more than great. Excellent service very clean ❤❤❤

I got my wisdom teeth removed here I was super scared but Dr.hyung was very reassuring it was less than an hour

They are so ruff and so not gentle BUT THE ASSISTANTS ARE (Alberto) the doctors don’t explain very well what are they doing to your mouth or the after care you need. The doctor just leaves to the next patient without saying nothing like he’s in a rush or something :(

They are always fast and friendly at Mt. View location, and I have never had a bad experience there. Thanks again for Joshua and Dr. Song for cleaning my teeth today! Great staff :)

This is the first dental visit that I was comfortable my cleaning was like wow I'm always scared of dentist but today was omg now can't wait to go on my next visit.goid attitude,smile ,I'm get me kids here.
