Dr. Miles was professional and friendly. Nicole is an amazing hygienist; she is extremely gentle and always a pleasure to see. The staff makes going to the dentist a good experience; they are always personable and remember the little details, like my cat's name and what I do for work. I love the downtown location and the renovations to the office are nice.

Calm, interesting conversation with no pain, what more could one ask at the dentist!

I want to share my experience with Delaney Park Dental. Dr. Miles and his professional staffs are near to down town Anchorage. The location is almost perfect and it has a lot of parking spaces. They also open on some Saturdays and I am very lucky find dentist office. I met Dr. Miles by accident and I had tooth pain. I expressed that I need to Dentist and he would see me that evening. When I arrived to his office, everyone was already expecting me and I was so well treated. While he and his staffs are friendly, they are very professionals. I love this dental office and I finally found a local dentist who is willing to hear my pain.

My visits at Delaney Park Dental have been very satisfactory. Everyone treats you very special. I've never been to a dentist office that has a television on the ceiling, to help you feel comfortable. Most of all, I appreciate Dr. Miles checking me after having some discomfort after an extraction. I definitely will recommend his service.

I'm sure I'm like most people and I'm not excited when I know I need dental work. 11/10/17 was the first time Dr Todd Miles had done actual work in my mouth. He took time to discuss with me what the plan was and made sure to ask how I was feeling. I was very impressed with the technic he used were he only numbed the tooth instead of my entire mouth.

Dr Miles dental assistant was also very attentive. Offered me water and to hold my hand when I needed a shot. When I had my teeth cleaned previously the dental hygienist was amazing.

I found the staff to be warm and inviting. Even though the dentist is not my favorite part of adulting, I would like to say thank you to Dr Miles and the entire staff at Delaney Park Dental for making it more bearable.

Delaney Park Dental took me in with practically no notice due to an emergency need. I had already been turned down by 3 other dentists that day but Delaney was able to squeeze me in. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their jobs. The work I needed to get done to my teeth unfortunately brought me back multiple times. Each time I walked in the girls at the front remembered me and Dr. Miles would send me out with his personal contact information just in case there was another "emergency." I felt very valued and appreciated by everyone. Not to mention my new set of pearly whites are amazing!!!

The staff at Delaney Park Dental were prompt and professional and addressed my dental concerns. They were exceptionally gentle and went the extra mile to make my experience a positive one!
I was relieved to find someone who could put my fears at ease.

I had dental cleaning at this office and a check up. The hygienist was lovely and did a good job. I can not comment on their other treatment options as I did not take advantage of them.
Office seems clean and convenient

The other 4 stars I did not add are because of the way they handled their billing.
I visited the office based on a recommendation from a friend
I went into the office in person to make sure they are in network with my insurance as well as to speak to them about possible treatment.
I was very clear that I have limited amount of income as a part time working mother of multiples and I need to know in advance how much each procedure would cost so that I am able to put the funds to the side before I schedule each appointment
I was told that ex rays and cleaning will be covered and after first cleaning I was told I will need to have deep cleaning done in 2 procedures which would be about $150 each.
I was able to schedule and pay for those cleanings
This was done in End of August 2018.
Then they made a treatment plan which I compared to another dental office and was exactly $400 more expensive to use Delaney Park Dental so of course I switched to the cheaper office in town

2 months later in November I was billed over $800 for everything that they did to me as services! I called their office immediately to ask why I am getting such a large bill so many months later when we clearly had a deal to be told in advance of each expense so that I do not make appointments if I can not afford it
What the receptionist told me is that THEY sent in the claim with a wrong code right after my procedures and my insurance declined to cover whatever services they did to me.
Then they SOMEHOW missed that and resent everything a month or so later to my insurance once again this time with the proper codes BUT by then I had finished my treatment and the funds from my insurance were all used
This is why I got billed in full like I do not have an insurance
Let’s look at this once again
Someone made a mistake sending in the claim then missed their mistake and took 2 months to send in NEW claim and by then it was too late for that.
Is this a problem I should pay $800 for? That someone in their office was unable to do their job in timely manner?
In addition to that I have asked them at least TWICE to mail me an actual bill with a break down of each procedure and how much It was and they never did
All I received from them was a letter with typed in wording stating this is how much you owe us by this date
Now I have been sent to collection as well for that same bill and I am going to diffidently speak to the collection agency about this matter.
They would have been able to take the payment out of insurance if they did not take 2-3 months to file in.
Another thing that made me a REALLY bad impression was them offering gift cards if you leave a 5 star review on google for their service. A good business does not offer gifts for reviews and by the way my original review was a 5 star and they never sent the gift either...
So here is my experience with their office
Unfortunately in Anchorage there are some great dentists BUT they need to certainly be careful what type of employees they hire for receptionists or billing because now someone like me has to be pressed to pay $800 for THEIR mistake instead of buying winter gear for my kids FOR EXAMPLE.
