Dr. Preece and the staff provided an awesome dental experience! Everyone was kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Dr. Preece Is an exceptional dentist - he takes the time to explain and discuss the options to give the best and most affordable dental care you can receive.

Excellent dentist office! The personnel here is absolutely incredible, super inviting and informative. Dr. Preece, Faith, and Tammy made me feel welcome and comfortable with the procedures being done. I walked out knowing exactly what my treatment plan was and all the costs. I'm so glad I finally found a dentist office who cares, is compassionate, and is experienced and knowledgeable in the practice.

I am so grateful I found this dental office! I always dread going to the dentist, but every time I have come away from Anchorage Healthy Smiles it has been a really positive and pleasant experience. The staff are wonderful and Dr. Preece really takes the time to talk with you about you about how you are doing and any questions you may have. I love that I do not feel rushed when I go there. The office itself is very nice and has a relaxing and soothing atmosphere. Definitely my favorite dentist I have been to in Anchorage (and I have been to a few!).

I did not have a good experience at Healthy Smiles Dental and will never go back. Dr. Preece was nice, but painfully slow - a cleaning and one (minor) filling took THREE AND A HALF HOURS. He also hooked my inner lip with the sickle probe twice while cleaning my teeth, the last time hard enough that I winced and it drew blood. The filling Dr. Preece gave me started causing me pain less than six months later. Worst of all, I am still on their email list even though I have requested that they remove me from it at least 4-5 times. Their many 5 star reviews were what drew me to their clinic, but they asked me point blank to leave them a good review on google. That's why there are so many people singing their praises here - not because he's an excellent dentist, but because they flat out ask each patient to write something nice on google. Don't believe the hype.

Healthy Smiles is the best dental office I've been to. The desk staff, dental assistants, hygienists, and Dr Preece are friendly, helpful, and effective.

Before I went to Healthy Smiles, I had another dental office here in Anchorage. During one appointment at the old dental office, I had arrived 10 minutes early; I checked in with the front desk and then used the bathroom for 30 seconds to brush my teeth, and then I sat in the waiting room. My appointment time came and went, so I approached the front desk a second time and asked if they were running late. They looked at me wide-eyed and said they thought I had left. Since only 10 minutes over my appointment time had gone by, I figured they would just let me go ahead with my appointment. They told me they had to reschedule me.

Another time, they gave me a filling that fell out soon after they gave it to me. I called them and tried to schedule another filling and they said I would have to wait more than a week.

I didn't feel like walking around with a gigantic crater in my tooth for a week so I ended up calling Healthy Smiles, and they were able to get me into the schedule within a couple of days.

I have been so happy with the entire staff and experience that I decided to switch over to Healthy Smiles, and since then I've had several completely smooth and easy appointments with them. Highly recommended!

After not having visited a dental office for quite some time, I decided that I needed to do something. My wife made an appointment for me at Healthy Smiles Dental, where she has been going for several years. They got me right in and I got x-rays, a cleaning, and an exam. Dr. Preece laid out several treatment options for me.
Today I had my second visit and was very impressed with the modern office and methods used. I found everyone very accommodating, working me into their schedule, and working with me on the payment for services. Based on my experience, it is very easy for me to recommend this dental clinic.

My husband and I just completed our treatment plans with Dr. Preece. He is very patient, and really took the time to make sure we understood what was going on. My husband had a lot of work to get done - root canals, bridges, fillings, and he made the process pretty simple and painless. We would highly recommend him!

I came to this office to get some work done when I found out I was pregnant. They were very accommodating and worked with my insurance plan. I generally don't like going to the dentist because it always hurts but they do a great job of making your visit pain free every time. I highly recommend them

I needed to have a tooth extracted. Dr Preece made it painless. My comfort was his highest priority. He is friendly, efficient, & professional, and so is his staff. They always have the time to answer my questions & address my concerns. I drive in from Palmer to see him & it is well worth the drive.
