Dr. Preece is very sensitive to how a patient is feeling while he is working with them. His staff is also quite concerned about how you are doing overall. It's a great place to have dental work done.

5 stars! Fast, courteous, compassionate, flexible, experienced staff, genuine care. What's not to love? Initial dental exam was the most thorough I have had. Dr. Preece has a gentle demeanor and his staff as well. I think I found my family dentist :-)

Booking was very simple and can be done online. The whole staff from the dentist, hygienist to the front desk are very professional, friendly, and have quick follow through. The best part - it's close to home and business so I can now finally call it my new dental home. I highly recommend this place!

After my first visit to this Dentist Office I'm sold! Very personable, friendly and knowledgeable. Upon arriving Dr. Preece was in the reception area decorating the Christmas tree, he knew my name and was expecting me. The staff was very friendly and I never felt rushed or like "just another patient". During my check-up Dr. P also spent a long time examining and providing comprehensive options for my oral health care. Oh AND their free chapstick is awesome!!

Very friendly dental office! Dr. Preece was concerned with my comfort, providing a warming /massage chair, blanket, headphones with radio, even free chapstick! His exam was very thorough. He seemed concerned about me as a person, not just a random patient. I appreciated his honesty, he only did the dental work that truly needed to be done. The next day I walked in because I had some concerns over some swelling, and he took the time to see me and talk about my concerns. I appreciated that he didn't seem rushed and took my concerns seriously.Oh yeah.. and the week I went they sent me home with Flowers!

At Healthy Smiles Dental, Dr. Preece and his team are very welcoming, very gentle, and very skilled at their profession. I needed 4 fillings, and was dreading the awful numbing. They used a temporary numbing that had me feeling back to normal much quicker. Their up-to-date technologies help to provide a quick, as painless as possible service. They are very affordable, and even offer a discount when you pay in cash, ahead of time. It is my top recommendation in Anchorage!

I have to say, I'm kind of in love with this place. I did some research online and decided to give Healthy Smiles a try. I scheduled my appointment online and was able to make one for 6pm (super convenient! +2). They called to remind me of my appointment (+1). The office is decorated in really calming tones with simple, aesthetically pleasing decor (+1), and they were playing chill oldies (+1). The girl at the front desk was super nice (+2). Dr. Preece came out to shake my hand and greet me (+5)- I give this +5 because this has never happened to me before. Every dental office I've ever been to has come off as sort of snobby, methodical, let's just get this done, and the dentists spent about 10 minutes with me toward the end of the appointment. Dr. Preece was with me from start to finish, making casual conversation, explaining his assessment of my oral condition, and educating me about all of the different methods of care that I might pursue-he didn't push for any expensive treatment options. His assistant was wonderful, too- very helpful and down to earth(+2). I felt like a person among other people, not just a patient. The bottom line is, I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Preece and his staff at Healthy Smiles to anyone. Every Dentist I've ever had could learn a thing or two about patient care from Dr. Preece and his team. 14/10 #wherehavetheybeenallmylife

JUST AHHHHMAZZIN....I been going to AHS for about 2 years, every time i go the staff are so welcoming, and the service is phenomenal, the massage heated seats, and the comfortable setting makes its easy for me to relax. During the 2 years,I had 2 implants and veneers. I had a emergency and called the dr office and I expected a answering service but his voice mail said if I needed to b seen right away to call his cell phone number, so I did, him and his staff came in on a Saturday to accommodate me. I love the fact that they take Denali kid care and can get same day appointment.
