Can never recommend Discovery dental enough! We drive 40 mins from south anchorage because it is worth it. My daughter is 3 and has a hard time with dental/doctors offices. The staff and Dentist always take the time to make her feel comfortable I truly appreciate it.

The waiting room was pleasant and kid friendly, though we didn't spend much time in it. We were brought back to the room very soon after arriving. Everyone was friendly. All our concerns were addressed. Everyone who interacted with us was great; they kid a good job setting my little guy at ease about what they were doing. He has been "inspecting" my teeth several times a day, just like the dentist did with him.

The staff is amazing!! My daughter can be a bit surly about doctor visits. But, she is always excited when I say we're going to the dentist! She loves entering the little ship door (kid sized) and getting her "treasure" at the end. I appreciate the positive, warm reception we receive from all the staff (especially Mrs. Nicole) and the through review from Dr. Matt. He has an amazing bedside manner. I would not take my daughter any where else!

2022 Update: Kids are now 5 and 3 and we have been going to Discovery Dental for about 4 years and truly couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. My kids are both pretty shy around people they don’t know well and the staff at Discovery are consistent (sign of a great workplace) and so kind. They make my girls feel safe and welcome. My 3 year old had a few soft spots and I was really impressed with how they handled the fillings on a 3 year old, and Dr. Matt even sang to her while he worked on her teeth.
The TV set up over the chair, the headphones so they can listen to a movie, the sunglasses to protect their eyes from the light..it’s all top notch.
Updating to add that this place gets better and better each time we go. My kids are now 3 and 15 months and loved their visit so much I had to drag them out of the building!
We love Discovery Dental! The staff are super nice and the facility is great for kids! I love their waiting room and the toddler room is jungle themed!
My daughter (2 years old) isn’t a fan of being touched by anyone that she doesn’t know and they are always so kind and patient with her.
Wouldn’t consider going anywhere else!

This was the greatest dental experience for my son who recently had to get a tooth pulled. The way they speak to children and help them stay calm and understand what's going on is fascinating. Thanks to Dr. Matt and everyone else I don't have to worry about my son's mouth anymore as I did at our previous dentist! 😀

Wonderful place to take your kids! Everyone was so nice and helpful. They explained everything to my daughter and made sure she was ok with everything and comfortable, just an overall great experience! I also loved that they explained all the insurance information and financial things that would fall to me. Highly recommend!

This is by far the BEST pediatric dental office I have ever seen. The staff is absolutely amazing and always are exceptional when handelinf a difficult moment. My son who is autistic went in for a cavity and lets just say, I felt like I was stressing more about how my son was acting/responding then the Dr and assistant. SUPER CALM and knew how to work with him. Highly recommend!!!!

Fantastic place for little ones! Was our sons first ever visit to the dentist and he was incredibly excited, everyone we came into contact with was friendly, reassuring and great at what they do!
Our son has already asked if he can go back again tomorrow.

Our 2 and 4yo are patients here and always have good experiences. The staff is great, clinic is clean, and they are always on time. We are in and out within 25 mins. We would highly recommend them!
