I am disappointed that they didn’t bother to let us know that our appointments have been cancelled until we actually showed up to the clinic or right before the appointment. I received the appointment reminders three different times and even confirmed the status the day before. Made this appointment back in Jun to accommodate our kids’ school schedules. Unprofessional and front desk staff needs customer training.

Dr. Rosenvall is so good with kids and is amazing at minimizing stress. My little guy asked “Am I going to get my shot now?” but it had been done ten minutes before and he hadn’t even noticed! We highly recommend Dr. Rosenvall and his team and trust him above any of the other (many) dentists we have tried.

We brought our 1 year old in for his first exam, everything was very quick and easy and the dentist answered all our questions. Obviously it’s not easy to do a dental exam on a 1 year old, but they had their tricks and my son handled it very well.

Who loves going to the Dentist? ...My 5 year old son does!!! He always raves about the kids-sized "pirate door" he get to enter through, watching movies on the ceiling tv (from the dentist chair), and especially choosing a toy from the treasure chest after his appointment! Though all of these things are great, as a parent I can assure you that it's the engaging and cheerful (aka: fun and silly) nature of the staff that makes each visit so special. And yes, quality and professional dentistry and superior expertise to boot! Hands down, the best Pediatric Dentisty Clinic in Alaska if you ask us!!!

Great professional staff who are friendly and put the kids at ease. Went in for a cleaning, ended up finding a problem baby tooth that needed to be extracted sooner rather than later. They were able to get my son in while we were already there and pulled it out and we were on our way in less than 20 mins.

Everyone was really friendly, they were quick and got all three kiddos in at once which I love. I am only giving 3 stars because this is the second time while checking out the lady at the front desk inside the office is totally rude. I stood there for 5 mins while she was writing up the kids treatment plan noT even acknowledging me standing there. She could have just said please take Seat and I’ll be right with you. I felt like we were interrupting her morning. My insurance was billed incorrectly which I tried to explain to her but she seems to have an attitude. Great place, except for the receptionist (older lady) the other receptionist in the front was really nice.

My 4 year old just had her first cleaning and thought it was fun. No tears, fear or crying.
My 8 and 9 year old just had cavities filled and didn't even think it was much more than a cleaning! Better yet no tears or fear either! Discovery dental has a great way of explaining what they are doing without using words like shots, and drills that would scare anybody. I recommend this office to anyone with children all the way to 18 years old. Good job Discovery Dental for changing the age old adage that the dentist is a scary and painful experience! My kids can't wait to come back!

All the staff is great, friendly and welcoming! They go above & beyond to make the kids feel comfortable. I love the tv’s in the ceiling so the kids can watch tv while getting their cleanings 😊
