I was refered to this place to get 4 wisdom teeth removed. Im always scared in the dentist as i hate mouth pain. But Dr. Hompesch was very nice and made me feel at ease from the beginning. Did a very very good job. I wasnt in pain at all afterwards. Would go back in a heart beat if wisdom teeth grew back!

They are the definition of insurance fraud!! They have you pay $140 up front before you even see the doctor. Then they bill your insurance, keep a portion from the insurance company and try to tell you that your insurance only paid some of it and give you what’s left over after they’re done taking what they want. I called my insurance company and xrays, consultations and exams are covered at 100% they should’ve given me back the $140 because that’s what my insurance company paid them!! I’m battling with them right now and have filed a complaint with the BBB. Go to a different oral surgeon in town this office is just money hungry they don’t care about your well being all they care about is your money. They make you pay before you even see the doctor!!! What kind of an office takes your money before you’re examined by the doctor? Obviously your health and wellness should take priority over money. For that reason I will be taking my dental care and money else where. They spend more time explaining the cost of services and options for payment then they do explaining the surgery!!!! They explain very little about the procedure don’t go over any risks or potential risks with you just get you to sign the consent form and send you over to talk to the lady about money AGAIN!! They spend 80% of the visit talking about payment. 20% talking about you, your fears, your concerns and your treatment. It should definitely be the other way around!! I’m lucky enough to be able to afford this procedure so I guess money is the least of my worries and problems right now which is why I am so annoyed with this office for the way they acted about finances. They made it very clear that money is the only thing that matters. For someone who is uneducated or elderly and doesn’t understand how insurance works, they could easily be taken advantage of. I am truly appalled that they kept my money and my insurance company’s money!!! There will definitely be an investigation into this practice and their financial policies and procedures. Please go some where else your health and wellness are way too important to be looked at as a paycheck. You should be taken seriously and your dental care should Be the priority to the doctor and his staff, not your money.

I got bit by a Cockatoo on August 17, 2021. I knew I needed stitches, went to see my Dr. and got referred to Dr. Homoesch. He couldn’t get me in that morning, as he had other patients scheduled. I appreciate that he kept his schedule with them, we all hate waiting when we have an appointment. He was able to get me in a little later that afternoon. They explained the procedure, they’d already called insurance and knew what my cost would be and what insurance would cover. They gave me options about how to proceed with the stitches, and I chose to be under anesthesia for the process. I woke up and didn’t even know I was finished. I came in a week later to get the stitches out that I hadn’t pulled myself. They got me in a half hour early, because he was between patients. Ten minutes later I was done!! Still some healing left, but looks really good considering how long the cut was.

Upon reading other reviews about shady billing practices and being told after the appointment that they couldn't tell me how much I would owe until getting in touch with my insurance, I have been trying to stay on top of the billing process. I called to see if they were able to figure out what I owe *after insurance* and was told $140. I paid via an FSA card over the phone. They said they would send me the invoice and receipt. Upon reviewing the invoice, there was no line for what my insurance covered, so I called back to find out the $140 was before insurance, which they said could take 6 months for reimbursement. I recommend going anywhere else because they indeed do not have an honest billing department. If you have to choose them, I would contact your insurance before agreeing to see them and get a contract in writing.
Also, during my appointment, I had to correct the doctor on which side the exam should take place on. 🤷♀️
