Dentists at Ironwood Crossing

I’m new to AZ and my first visit was fantastic! Office is high tech with great xray equipment! My exam, cleaning, and hygienic experiences were exceptional! Staff were very personal and took a personal interest in me. Thanks Elisa, Erica, and Dr G! Once I started I never had to get up.
A staff member came to the chair and discussed treatment options, a signature pad was available and I was able to sign without ever moving!
Dr G was able to immediately complete work on my teeth.
Also, the SmileChart is fantastic! You can review your treatment, billing, and payment method!
Also, was able to check in online prior to arrival so checkin was about 2 minutes. No waiting! and was in a room in less than 3 minutes
Fantastic experience and I would highly recommend!!!

I DO NOT recommend going to this dentist.

Prior to Covid my 3 kids and I had been going to the same dentist for years. Unfortunately their office closed last year and I needed to find a dentist for our normal cleanings. Over the last several years other than my youngest we’ve been fortunate to never have cavities or needed much more than a cleaning and our previous dentist charged a reasonable fee as I’m a cash pay patient.

After my 3 boys and I came to this dentist for our first ever appointment I was blown away after being told that between the 3 of us ( my 2 teenage boys and me) we had a total of 9 cavities and needed 2 root canals. Seemed a little crazy to me since 6 months earlier our prior dentist hadn’t mentioned any cavities but my kids and my oral health is important to me so I guess this is what we need to do.

Because I’m cash pay they explained the financing they offered and I was given a $5,000 limit that these procedures would already max that balance out. They said I needed to have a crown put on to prevent a full root canal later I was told even though I told the Dr I was experiencing NO pain.

Also to further demonstrate the y professionalism of this office, after I was already under novocaine and in the middle of this uncomfortable procedure the procedure was interrupted to tell me that my middle son needed a root canal and his wisdom teeth taken out basically $12,000 worth of work and had me sign something approving them to do his root canal that day. Now maybe it’s my fault for agreeing but should Drs really not know better and be more professional than to do this mid procedure?

Fast forward to today I’ve been having pain in the tooth this dentist capped that I had NO PAIN prior to the procedure they did. The dentist tells me “the procedure he performed upset the nerve, the pain would be permanent until I got a full root canal and they had a specialist that could perform it.”

I walked out. I’m furious. Coming to this office was a huge mistake that hopefully I can help others avoid.

I’ve accumulated a balance of thousands of dollars not including the new root canal they’re saying I now need to get rid of the pain their procedure caused.

The trend with this office seems to be the always need more money!!

New patient. I was treated so nicely and all if the staff is friendly and helpful. The DDS was professional and managed to evaluate my problems and I walked out with a new crown that very sane day! We’ll worth a few extra dollars to not have to wait weeks. What he could not treat, he referred me to a specialist. I could not be more pleased and would refer anyone to them!

Dr. Gutierrez and his assistant Britny are great. Got me in quickly. A very friendly and professional team. Explained everything and answered all my questions. Took care of me from root canal to crown. I did have to go back because as a tooth grinder I cracked the Crown but they replaced it With a stronger ceramic at no cost with no hassles at all. It is hard to label tooth pain as a great experience , but all things considered I am glad I found this office.

My 1st time experience here was great! Everyone I encountered there were cheerful and helpful. My Dr assistant Brittany was very thorough and pleasant during the whole process. Then Dr. Gutierrez was very informative on all that I needed to be done. After the exam was all finished Erika Pullin at the front desk was super helpful with all the future appointment setting and payment plan explanations.

It's been about 10 years since I visited a dentist so I had two consults at Anytime Smile Dentistry by my house and Dentists at Ironwood Crossing down the road. In my opinion, this business was more detailed in my exam, x-rays, and explanation for their care plan. The office is new and have the latest high tech equipment. The whole staff group including the dentist and hygienist are always very friendly and professional. The I've had several appointments here over the last six months and every time they've been on time and do a good job of communicating what's going on the whole time during my visit. I've had a deep cleaning, a crown put on and erupted wisdom teeth pulled. Each time was a 11/10 performance. I hope it says something that I chose a place further drive to have all this work done.

Don’t know if my first review went thru. This place is fantastic. Dr Gutierrez is very personable. I felt very comfortable there and got me that is a big deal. I have always had trouble with my teeth so dentists are not foreign to me. I give the Dentists at Ironwood Crossing a big thumbs up.

Third visit here and have been happy with all the staff, hygienist and dentist. My kids (7 & 10) enjoy coming as well.

Erica, the hygienist, is very personable and informative about the procedures and care of my teeth.

Their up to date tools make it more comfortable when I had to get a crown.

I was able to call and get an appointment within two days, which is a rarity these days. I was scheduled with Dr Gutierrez and his assistant Brittany. The speed, continuity, and professionalism was phenomenal. Dr Gutierrez and Brittany work very well as a team and make the process seamless.

I came to this office to get a second opinion after a $3k+ estimate by another dentist and I'm so glad I did. Dr Manny and the whole staff were very helpful in explaining different options that were available to me for treatment and they are honest! I saved a ton and the hygienist was very gentle with the deep cleaning and fillings I needed. Now I'm happy to make the extra drive to Ironwood to find a dentist that I can trust in taking care of my teeth.
