Smile Today - Dentist Scottsdale

I was a very nervous about the dentist for years, until one day, I got courage enough to schedule an appointment . They were so friendly on the phone and scheduled me within 1 day for my appointment. I still didn't want to go, but I knew deep down I had to and it was the best thing I have ever done; even though I needed work done on my teeth and was initially afraid . My entire work was done under IV sedation --- sleeping --- it was a Dream!!!! No pain at all, not even after my appointment. I'm very happy with my teeth and that now I can smile again. I can only thank Dr Bazilus and his staff for helping me through this ...... thanks so much x x x

I have had an extraordinary amount of dental work done by many dentists and oral surgeons, and Dr. Huish and his team are by far the best. Quality, trustworthy dentistry, very reasonable prices and a comfortable and friendly environment.

I really can't say enough about how grateful I am to have found them.

Update: I have been getting my dental work and cleanings here for 5 years. Lots of new staff - and the same excellence. A gentle, but thorough cleaning, Dr. Bazilus and his assistant are spectacular. If this isn't a testimony - I now drive from Tucson for checkups.

CANCELED My appointment WITHOUT NOTIFYING Me~ No call in my phone history ~ and I called this morning to confirm my appointment left a VM ~ there was NO Return call today to confirm I received the Cancellation message yesterday!!! I am VERY DISAPPOINTED by their Unprofessional, Discourteous and Very Disrespectful actions to a client who drove an 1hr to see them because Last office visit was an emergency visit where I felt well cared for ☹️

I originally gave this practice a 5 star. I will still say, the staff that works on your teeth, are very good and attentive (Anthony is my favorite 5 stars for him). So, that has not changed.

Now, why I have decided to leave Smile Today on Indian School a 1 star? The front office staff. It was bad enough that I would get constant email and text reminders for appointments and requests to write reviews,, even after I asked to be removed, but even that can be understood.

What pushed me over the edge with the front desk staff where two things. 1. They would contact me to schedule an appointment earlier than the appointment that I had already scheduled. It can take you by surprise when it's been 3 or 4 months since your cleaning, as to whether or not you had scheduled an appointment. But, sure enough after my phone call with the staff who reached out to me and subsequently scheduled my appointment, I found the appointment card that I had already scheduled with a month later than the one they bugged me for. 2. The last straw was when I was contacted via text, email and subsequent phone call for money owed ($30). This was disturbing to me as Smile Today expects payment directly after your visit, something I've not experienced in the past. In the past I would get an invoice. There was no explanation about why I would owe more money, only that I had the money due. When I dug deeper and asked what for they replied that the insurance company did not pay for the proper service that they had payed for in the past. They also acted like it was odd for me to even ask. As I dug deeper it seemed my insurance had paid for an alternative procedure than what I actually had done and paid for after my visit (co-pay). When I asked if they could rectify this, they declined (not their job, already provided a courtesy to submit billing to insurance). I think it is also important to note that I had to ask for an invoice in order to address this with Cigna. In other words, all I received were texts and messages that I owed money, no invoice. Naturally, I asked for the invoice which the desk staff agree to provide with a defensive and bad tone. I called my provider and sure enough there was an error. They sent a check to Smile Today for their $30 and I made sure to cancel my next future business with this practice.

Excellent dentist! I went in without insurance and the out of pocket expense was a lot less then what I was expecting! The tech I had, Jordan, man did this guy do a great job cleaning my teeth. The before and after was ridiculous! I highly recommend this dentist office to everything, whether your insured or not!

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Huish and his friendly and competent staff. It is not often that I walk away from a dentist's office feeling as though my dental health and well being were such a priority for everyone at this office. I had several issues that needed to be resolved including fixing dental work done by previous, inexperienced dentists at another location as well as ongoing maintenance. Dr Huish clearly explained everything that was going to be done and kept me informed of the progress as we went along. After care was clearly explained and I feel very comfortable recommending Dr Huish to anyone looking for a caring and knowledgeable dentist.

This is a great dental office. The whole staff are friendly and courteous. The dentist, hygienist and assistants put you at ease and really care about your comfort.

This was my first visit for a consultation. The office was clean and well organized. The office staff was both professional and friendly. Overall, I would recommend this office.

I scheduled an appointment to get my wisdom teeth out for a Friday, to minimize the amount of time I'd have to take off of work. I postponed a national research study for the following week so I could make this appointment, I took a sick day off of work, I made my husband take a sick day off of work, and I cleared my schedule for the weekend to recover from the wisdom teeth extraction.

I called that Thursday (the appt. was scheduled for a Friday) to find out what to expect, because no one had given me any information about what I should or shouldn't do to prepare. No one had explained how it would work or what to expect. No one had explained if I should do anything before the procedure, or what I should do after. So I called and was told there would be a different dentist performing the wisdom teeth extraction. She asked if that was ok and I consented.

When I arrived the next morning, I was told that the person working that day was not comfortable with wisdom teeth extractions and that they had only just found out. Except, Smile Today knew that someone else would be filling in that Friday - I know this because I had to call on Thursday to get more information, because Smile Today failed to give me any idea of what to expect - and no one thought it important to give me a call and let me know that this procedure wouldn't be happening at all.

I am extremely upset about the blatant disregard for my time. The receptionists were extremely rude and gave us attitude when I inquired as to why no one thought to call and let me know that this procedure wouldn't be happening. I have actually never had a good experience with the morning receptionists in the three times I have visited the office. I filled out a positive review the last time I visited the office, and now I'm wishing I hadn't. I actually cannot believe this happened, and no one acted as if it were a problem. In fact, the receptionists acted as if it was no big deal.

We will not be returning to Smile Today, and I certainly will not recommend this dentist to anyone. What we experienced was the worst customer service and extreme disregard for their patients' time. What's worse: the receptionists will treat you like you are a nuisance, and no one will bother to apologize for wasting your time.

I chipped three of my front teeth and they got me in first thing in the morning! Jocelyn and Dr. Badri gave me my perfect smile back!! My teeth look even better than they did before!! I walked around all day smiling from ear to ear showing off my new smile and I look forward to seeing them both again next week! I was looking for a new dentist and I have found one!!!
