I was not very impressed with Gentle Dental. Overall, the office staff and.techs were ok and pretty nice, but the dentist I saw ruined the entire experience. Dr. Osmun very cold and not very personable from the get go. He did not seem very interested in being there, and did not want to listen to what I had to say. He got angry with me because I had difficulty filling out paperwork, because the print was VERY small, and being Visually impaired I had a hard time seeing it. I tried to explain my situation, but he would barely utter a few words and mumble. Even my boyfriend picked up on the vibe that this guy just did not care. He could not even be bothered to bring the chair back up to a sitting position while do a discussing treatment options, so I was forced to try and have a serious conversation lying flat on my back while Dr. Olsun stood across the room. He seemed to place the blame on me for the fluorosis of my teeth, when it was due to the well water we used when I was a kid. I tried to explain that, and he just rolled.his eyes as if to say "ugh, country people". I mentioned that I had not had much dental care because I bounced around a lot in the last ten years, and I am low income because of my disability, and the second Dr. Olsun realized he couldn't squeeze every last penny out of me, he gave up caring all together.
I was also accused of refusing treatment, when all I had stated was that the endodontist they contracted with was too far for me to travel to. I tried to explain I do not drive, and from where I live, the endodontist's office they suggested at Oracle and Ina (and I got another eye roll when I asked Dr. Olsun where exactly on Oracle the location was and all he responded was "I don't know I don't work there" , with no care of finding the answer or helping at all). By the end of the appointment, he and his assistant kept pushing tooth extraction so they could get some kind of money out of me that day since I wasn't 'cooperating' (IE asking for a referral to an endodontist that wasn't a two.and half hour bus ride away). The assistant kept making excuses for not sending a referral form to an office in my side of town as I waited to schedule a cleaning or determined what kind of cleaning I needed, I don't know, that never actually happened and I was basically kicked out of the office with just a phone number for another office. I don't feel comfortable going back to this office if the people they employ really care so little.

Just had an appointment with Dr. Osmun to have a cavity filled and crown made. As always, Dr. Osmun did a fine job. This time he had as assistant, Mario, to aid him in my procedures. Mario was very professional and seemed to be the Ying to Dr. Osmun's Yang. Mario knew what he was doing and really was johnny-on-the-spot in its' execution. Good work Mario.....Oh, and you to Dr. O.

I highly recommend this dental office...👍👍👍👍 It was my first time there...all of the staff from the front desk...techs....dentist...& financing we're super....polite....& knowledgeable....more dentist should learn from this place....got in on time...treated me excellent....will definitely be coming back here & let my family & friends know about it...
