Skyline Dental - Tucson

Firstly, perhaps more than anyone reading this, I am in a position to make an extremely valid review, as I am a retired dentist, having my entire career in this city.

I decided to have Dr. Raymond become my dentist in retirement for multiple reasons. Firstly, I know for a fact, his philosophy of practicing dentistry is quite similar to mine, considered by my colleagues exceptional in itself. Dr Raymond not only seeks to learn the most up to date, evidence based decisions and application of what is known, but then takes that knowledge back to his office and applies it. After helping teach other dentists for decades, I can tell you, sadly, that is not the norm. Not only does he apply it, but then does that exceptionally well.

My needs are typically quite minimal. That said, I did need some treatment of structural significance, which he recently performed for me. It was done with the utmost in safety with respect to our current pandemic, AND was also done with ABSOLUTE 100% PERFECTION.

His office is very well equipped, and he and his staff are all extremely competent. This creates for an exception team to perform dentistry.

As far as I know, he is not in any ‘network’, and that will be for a reason. If you have Insurance, it may apply, but you shouldn’t expect ‘average’ benefits to pay for all of above average treatment, wherever you go. That said, I’ve seen average, and I don’t like it! Not for me. But Dr. Raymond IS.

Dr. Raymond has left no detail unattended in his dental practice at Skyline and Campbell. From an incredibly attentive and professional staff to state-of-the-art digital dental equipment, not to mention an inviting and comfortable environment with great music, this is as perfect as a dental practice can be! Dr. Raymond recently completed a fairly extensive dental regimen for me. He spent a considerable amount of time explaining to me his prescribed plan and took extra effort to make sure I was comfortable with his plan. He is a master in cosmetic dentistry -- I experienced no pain whatsoever during the procedures and the outcome far surpassed my expectations. And I should mention all of this was done during the Covid-19 Pandemic with the most extreme safety precautions implemented. Overall, I'm very pleased to have found Skyline Dental and Dr. James Raymond.

Dr. Raymond is an amazing dentist. I have bad anxiety when it comes to dental work due to some extremely bad experiences in the past. But when I started seeing Dr. Raymond he helped me work through a lot of my fears. He inspired me to care better care of my teeth. I know from speaking with him he is always looking into new and exciting advancements in dental care, so he can provide the best options for his patients. I am so excited that his new office is open, and he has a very bright future with Skyline Dental. You will be very pleased with your smile and it is amazing how good dental care can improve so many aspects of your life.

Having just moved to Tucson recently and needing a dental practice familiar with maintaining my All on Four implants I was happy to find Skyline Dental. The entire staff were welcoming, friendly and professional and Dr Raymond really took the time to consult with me and to learn what my needs were. Very impressed with my first visit.

Dr. Raymond has an excellent reputation in the Tucson dental community, and my visit confirmed that it is deserved. His office is pristine, with tasteful decor, soothing scents, and cutting-edge equipment. His staff is friendly and helpful, and Dr. Raymond is exceptionally skilled, gentle, and attentive. I left with a distinct feeling that my personal, dental, and financial needs were taken seriously.

In short, I unreservedly recommend him to anyone--particularly those with tricky rebuilding/cosmetic issues and/or prior bad experiences with other dentists.

Dr. Raymond and his staff are as good as it gets! As one who has had many poor experiences with numerous dentists in the past, I was hesitant to go when Skyline Dental was recommended to me. I am now so glad I made the appointment!! First of all, the office does not feel like a standard dentist’s office. It is modern in design, filled with beautiful photographs, and without the overabundance of soul-sucking fluorescent lighting and bad wallpaper. The staff, Liz and Shea, are polite, friendly, and attentive. Once I met Dr. Raymond, he took his time to listen to my concerns and issues of the past. He was able to relax my mind quickly and eliminate concerns. I have had two appointments now and truly look forward to my next appointment.

Skyline Dental is a state of the art in technology with a wonderful art collection throughout the entire office.
But more important, Dr Raymond is a real professional, attentive & very caring person. So is his assistant & staff.
He was also very considerate in my financial situation.
I can strongly recommend him to anyone.

What an awesome dentist and great assest Dr. Raymond is to the Tucson community. I recommend Dr. Raymond and his staff 100%. He takes pride in his work and has helped me get over my anxiety. I am totally relaxed and have complete confidence while getting my dental work done. My bridge, veneer and implant crowns are so perfect in fit and in color to match existing teeth. The entire team at Skyline Dental is fantastic. They’re so friendly and so helpful. Every visit I have had has been a good experience despite my intense dislike of having dental work done! They do everything possible to make the visit pleasant, and the work they do is top notch. I can not recommend this team enough!

Had a great experience. I had an in implant, veneer and cavity filled. The office was very clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating and my smile is beautiful. The best part was the shots didn't hurt! And I'm a wuss!
