Lu Dental Care - Alhambra Dentist

Dr. Lu is very friendly and thorough.. The staff is also very friendly. They have made a lot of updates to their office and it's a very comfortable atmosphere. Ever since I started coming here, my dental health has improved and haven't had any issues. They also have 2 locations in the SGV which makes it really convenient.

I found out about Dr. Lu’s dental office through yelp and my insurance’s website in 2019 and I am glad that I did! Everyone I’ve encountered at this office is super friendly and helpful and really takes the time to get to know you as a patient. Dr. Lu is extremely professional and knowledgeable when explaining his procedures and answering questions related to my issues. As a patient who tenses up at the dentist, I appreciate how every staff explains what they’re about to do and constantly check up on me to ensure I’m doing okay. I previously had issues with my insurance having a waiting period and not covering certain dental procedures that were performed during this period. Instead of charging me out of pocket, Dr. Lu and his office manager, Victor explained the entire process and were kind enough to write a letter to my insurance stating that the procedure was necessary at the time.

The office is clean and they are taking every precaution for COVID. Patients are required to go through a screening, temperature check and wash their hands when entering. Appointments are easy to make and parking is never an issue. I highly recommend this place and will be referring my family and friends when they’re looking for a new dentist!

Dr Lu and staff are the most welcoming and professional medical team I've ever experienced. They always make you feel comfortable and completely at ease. As for Dr Lu, he is bright, highly skilled and sensitive to your needs. He truly cares. I'm in the midst of a lot of dental work and every visit has been pain free. I actually enjoy my visits. On top of all this, the office is spotless. Recommended with flying colors!

Dr. Lu and his staffs are great people. They’re very professional and skillful fixing teeth. I have been going to their office for a few years now for my teeth cleaning and recently getting a crown done. Highly recommend their services and I think you will like them too! 👍

Very nice service! All people there work very hard and technicality very detailed. Just filled my center front tooth which has couple deeply holes on the side and back. The finished tooth feel very good, smooth and perfect surface there. The doctor paid a lot of attention and very focused when he did his job. And many assistants around me to help there. This is my first time visiting experience there, so far so good!

I highly recommend Lu Dental Care. Dr. Lu and his staff have your best interests in mind by recommending and providing the appropriate dental works you need. In addition, Dr. Lu listens to your concerns and needs before performing any procedures. I went in with a huge cavity and he was able to fix it. He did not recommend crazy and expensive crown. I left his office feeling relieved and have my life back to normal again. Dr. Lu is a superb dentist that you can trust to work on your teeth.

This dental office is very busy and the wait was long but well worth it. The staffs are caring, friendly, energetic and responsive. I called to make appointment and receptionist answered my call promptly. Also, the office is clean and equipped with modern equipment. The price he charged is extremely reasonable and acceptable (not charging you two arms and legs).

Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Lu and his staff. This is the best dentist I encountered thus far in the LA area. I am grateful for their impeccable service.

The facility's waiting room is small. Luckily this time, it was not cramped with others. (During my last visit in November, I was very concerned for my safety since I waited 1 hour with two other patients to be seen past my appointment time). But, during my recent visit, it was quick and easy. I noticed the HEPA filters they set up sometime between my two visits, which made me feel more at ease with coming to the dentist during this pandemic. I came in for a cleaning and am satisfied with the job. The dental hygienist is attentive and talked me through what he was doing, which I really appreciate. Also, Dr. Lu is very friendly and bilingual, and this facility takes Medi-Cal. Overall, I have a great experience here! Recommended it to my family.

Dentist was very good, explain everything real good, everything was clean beautiful my experience was excellent this is the first time I have a dentist like this in 83 years old of life and it was an excellent experience

This is by far one of the best dental offices I’ve experienced! The staff is very friendly and very thorough but gentle at the same time. This is important to me since I have very sensitive teeth. But I know they did a good job because my teeth feel great for a few days after I leave. They are also very good about scheduling and squeezing you in. And with 2 locations (temple city or Alhambra) you don’t have to wait months for an appointment. 5 stars!
