Dental Center of Atherton (formerly Advanced Dentistry)

Although going to the dentist is not my favorite thing to do, I always enjoy visiting and talking with Dr. Brian Fong. He is super warm and friendly and is always interested in what is going on in my life. Additionally, he's always super calm and explains what is going on with the procedures. He does great work on my crowns and cavity fillings. Gotta love his new laser machine for cavity fillings that doesn't require you to get Novocaine shots any more! Also enjoy my hygienist Shima, a very diligent and caring person. Overall, a great staff, beautiful new state of the art office and a great individual leading it all! 👍👍

Recently had a dental appointment here. Their new place is beautiful but better yet Brian Fong & his staff are the best! Very professional, yet friendly. They make you feel comfortable and that they do care about you.

I had the most thorough dental checkup I’ve ever experienced. I was super impressed of the advanced imaging I was able to view to be able to visually see what was going on with my teeth and the right approach to care for them with Dr. Fong & the dental hygienist. They were both attentive and accommodating, I appreciate how they are not rushed and take their time during my visit! Highly recommend!

Dr. Fong and his team are so nice and we love getting our teeth cleaned here! Our entire family receives our dental care from Dr. Fong and his team. Shima is our personal dental hygenist and she is so positive and has really helped to motivate all of us to improve our dental regimin. The practice has moved to an Atherton location into a state of the art facility on El Camino, so it's pretty centrally located. I highly recommend Dr. Fong and Advanced Dentistry!

Dr Fong recently moved his practice to Atherton on El Camino Real. His new office is soooo beautiful, clean, spa-like with the latest and greatest technologies.

Office staff are friendly and helpful. Shima is my hygienist and I love how she cleans my teeth with the ultrasonic scaler first then hand scale the root of each teeth. Every time she will do “perio-measurement”- counting the gum pocket. Making sure my gums and teeth are healthy.

Making appointments are easy. I always booked my next appointment at the end of my visit. If I need to change my appointment; usually I can be seen within a week or two on the waiting list.

Best of all, Dr Fong charges very reasonable fee considering his office is located in the most expensive location in the Mid-peninsula. I would highly recommend Dr Fong to all my friends and family.

Dr. Fong is a great listener and addresses all of your dental concerns without rushing. His hygienist works in a calming and efficient manner. It was a great dental appointment.

I enjoy going to the dentist. Advanced Dentistry has always had a friendly staff and welcoming environment and since they relocated to their new digs in Atherton it just got better. The space is truely beautiful. Shima is the most professional service provider I’ve ever dealt with and Dr. Fong is friendly and practical.

My case is probably as complex as it gets and I have been through a lot, phase 1 sleep surgery at Stanford, other surgeries and many medical visits and now the next step, restoring what medical challenges have robbed me of, a healthy, beautiful and functional smile!!

Dr. Fong has made a clear and concise plan to restore functionality and a gorgeous smile too! The work he’s already done for me has been so efficient and comfortable and the crowns completed so far were perfect. He’s great at explaining what needs to be done, answering your questions and making you feel very much at ease- a great quality for “dental- phobic” friends out there.

Dr Fong has been my dentist for 10+ years and I highly recommend him. He also uses state of the art laser technology which makes it amazingly quick and easy to get tooth fillings without the need for Novocaine!
