Really clean , very organized and high professional work.
Dr. Mahzoon and hygienists are very knowledgeable and do super quick procedures all the time.
I always get well explanation before going to any procedures including estimated fee and insurance coverage, so it’s really reliable and I can be relax while I am here at this dental office.

I’m so glad that I switched dentist. Weird to say but I left my first visit thinking wow, this is the best dentist appointment I’ve ever had. I learned a lot of what I need to adjust and fix by reviewing my X - rays. I appreciate the suggestions and options I have and the staff are nice and accommodating. Highly recommend.

I love United Dental. I have been coming here 8 years. My kids love coming here. The staff remember us every time and ask about how we are doing. They are preventive a have a variety of additional services like whitening and mouth guards.

Dr Mahzoon is great! She is very attentive and has a wonderful bedside manner. Makes going to the dentist a comfortable experience. Definitely recommend her.

The staff and doctors were amazingly cooperative throughout. They clearly explained the cost of treatment even before I asked. I recommend United dental to everyone.

I am new to California and the bay area, recently moved to Redwood City and decided to give United Dental Dr.Mahzoon's office a try. I cannot say that anyone in the office was particularly rude, but I don't like how aggressive things are run in her office. On my first visit Dr.Mahzoon told me that I needed 6 fillings which to me was A LOT especially seeing as how I have good dental hygiene and under constant dental care. She also insisted that I get a cleaning, which I ended up getting on the day of my first visit. A few days later I begin to receive text messages about scheduling an appointment for a cleaning, followed by further text messages about discounts and referral incentives. Then I received a phone call from the office within the next few days calling to setup another appointment for a cleaning and I asked how often they recommend cleanings because I just had one done and the assistant told me we can go ahead and schedule one out for the next 6 months. Perhaps I'm easily irritated by aggressive communication, but I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for some of the filings Dr.Mahzoon recommended (instead of the 6 month in advance cleaning appointment). When I get to the appointment the assistant brings out my "treatment plan" of all the suggested work Dr.Mahzoon mentioned on my first visit (some of which I didn't quite agree with that I needed to do) and tells me that the grand total for the treatment plan is upwards of $2,000 she went on to let me know how much my insurance would cover and that my total for today would be an installment towards the grand total of the treatment plan. I guess I have just never seen a dental office start off by demanding payment towards an unconfirmed treatment plan. I told the assistant that I would only pay for the work that I'll be getting done that day which she was agreeable to. I just don't like the hustling vibes of her office, not my preference.

I go to the dentist regularly and just moved to the Bay Area, so I was looking for a new dentist. My previous dentist in Miami told me I had no cavities or issues with my mouth about 6 months prior. At my first visit with Dr. Shabnam Mahzoon on 10/31/2022, she told me that I needed a deep cleaning and that I had 9 different cavities. She also told me to use a antibiotic mouthwash. Even though I supposedly needed a deep cleaning, her hygienist had done a regular cleaning. I believed Dr. Mahzoon and got 3 cavities filled, until a friend told me to get a second opinion. On 01/18 I went to Dr. Daniel Mendoza’s office. He told me that I had no cavities at all but had a lot of plaque buildup. Apparently the antibiotic mouthwash prescribed by Dr. Mahzoon’s office messed up my oral health, which contributed to the plaque buildup. I also believe this is because Dr. Mahzoon’s office did not do the basic cleaning right either. I believe what Dr. Mendoza told me because I have never had any issues with oral health in my life. Overall, I believe Dr. Mahzoon’s office is making up unnecessary treatment to get money. I filed a board complaint with the Dental Board of California as well. I wish I saw the other review that talks about another patient who had to file a board complaint against Dr. Mahzoon before I went to her practice but I hope my experience can serve as a warning to others.

From the very 1st phone call I was impress of how professional this place was until last moment i walked out of this ace I knew it was the best dentist I ever visited. Love this place! 😀 😍

I was made very comfortable. I have a dentist phobia and doctor put me very much at ease. Her assistant Christal and her hygenists are fabulous
