I used to hate going to the dentist, and over the years I've had various dentists for various procedures. 1st: when I was 4 1/2 yrs of age, my front tooth would not come in requiring a minor surgical procedure, 2nd: ages 10-15 for braces, 3rd: young adulthood came wisdom teeth extractions (4), fillings, broken teeth, crowns, and root canals. But I can assure you, Dr. John is the most gentle of Dentists I have encountered. Virtually pain free treatments. The staff is wonderful and goes the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and remain that way even after you have returned to your home!

My appt yesterday was for repair of a filling. As usual, your staff was pleasant, efficient and I was in and out very quickly. And of course, Dr Tommy was his usual self; pleasant, quick, and highly efficient. Visiting a dentist is not my idea of how to spend an hour or so, but if one has to visit a dentist, then Nelson Family Dentistry is a good choice.

As always a wonderful cleaning with Nikki and everybody is always so helpful whether it comes to instructions on cleaning teeth or mouth hygiene maintenance dental insurance. it's all good thank you. This visit 2/16 was x-rays and a brief check up with Dr Nelson. (My teeth and health are been a working progress.) Work still to be done and 2 tiny cavities to fill. I have been going to the Nelson office for years and I love them all. I have never had a bad experience because they have all been great experiences. Even when I get upset that I have to get a filling, they are patient with me. Doctor John and Doctor Missy are awesome and I love my tech. I would have posted her name too but wasn't sure she would want that. You can't go wrong being a patient here!!!

I’m 43 yrs old and can honestly say this is my first internet review of anything. I guess I haven’t felt strongly enough, positive or negative, in past years to voice my opinion.
Furthermore it doesn’t seem like I’m impressed much these days by people’s craft or work ethic.
That being said, I feel the complete opposite about Nelson Dentistry and even more specifically one of their dental hygienist, Michelle. Never before have I had a hygienist do such a thorough, professional, pain free cleaning. Not only that, she’s consistent. A great job every time. She’s a true master of her trade!
Luckily, I haven’t had to have any other work done besides the bi-annual cleanings, but suspect any work by Dr.Nelson will net the same results. I’d give 6 stars if I could! Top notch dentistry!

Dr Tommy is the BEST! Had a crown placed yesterday and he called in the evening just to make sure I was doing ok. He is very sensitive to difficult patients (hard to numb) like me. I would highly recommend him and his staff!

On a 10 scale I would give this practice at 12! I broke off my upper left front tooth yesterday and was seen immediately and as I sit here now I have a Invisalign in place until I can see the oral surgeon. To get that made in 24 hours is amazing. Thanks guys.
