Excellent service, and excellent bedside manner. Friendly, and calming... especially for this person who is not 'dentist friendly'... meaning I have a bit of a fear when going to the dentist. Dr. Patel and his staff create a very calm atmosphere, and always make me feel at east. I would recommend them to everyone!!!

I had a great experience here at Today's Family Dentistry.
I had some diagnostics done in a different dental office and they advised on some aggressive treatment for a cracked tooth (a crown and a filling!). In addition, their work quoted was extremely high. I wanted to get a 2nd opinion so I went to Dr. Patel as a recommendation from a friend.
JC, the front desk receptionist, helped to quickly get an appointment with Dr. Patel. Dr. Patel was very personable, took the time to review the xrays and photos from the other practice, and ultimately advised that I only needed a filling but counseled on the possible risks. He wanted to monitor before going down the more aggressive path. I was extremely pleased with this approach and definitely had a great visit. He also performed a thorough cleaning. I am usually very tense and anxious at the dentist but left this office feeling very content and assured I was getting both very competent and fair/honest dental work.
I would highly recommend Dr Patel for anyone in the Contra Costa/Oakland area!

When my dentist retired after more than 30 years, I was a little stressed about finding someone new. I was given a list of about 20 names of dentists to check out and I feel I really hit the jackpot finding Dr. Patel. I get a bit anxious going to the dentist but with Dr. Patel I felt at ease as he explained things while he was working. He is also very gentle. I could not be more happy with my choice. His office staff and dental assistants are also super nice, friendly and very professional.

Going to the dentist has always been a scary ordeal for me I'm 58 years old and I have let my teeth go for fear of dentist. But after seeing Dr Patel I have a totally different view on going to the dentist. I can't say enough positive things about Dr Patel he is kind, patience, he listens and he truly cares that you have a positive experience everytime he sees you. I am having major work done and he is the best I would recommend him to all my friends and family he's just that good.

Dr. Morrow has been my primary dentist for almost 26 years. She has been outstanding. She very professional, gentle and caring, The new Dentist Dr. Patel is very friendly and greets you with a smile and the staff is amazing Candice, JC and Rosa are always so helpful and cheerful. I highly recommend this office. If I could give more stars I would!
