Great dentist! Ladera Dentistry went out of their ay to help my when I had a horrible tooth ache. They were very responsive to me even though I was not yet a patient. Well I can tell you now, I am a patient and will continue to be. My family all goes there now. The whole team make going to the dentist a pleasant experience!

Been through 3 various dentist over the years in search for someone who knew what they were doing, wasn't trying to sell me a mouth full of silver and was compassionate enough to understand that genetically I get a lot more tarter build up than the norm and I don't need to get a boring long winded lecture on how to floss my teeth. Anyhow, great dentist and I'm glad my wife found them!

The staff were very friendly. I need to have a lot of work done, and they were understanding about me wanting to take things one step at a time. I felt very welcome here. Definitely a huge upgrade since my last dentist.

I walked in the door to overly friendly office staff, I was introduced to 3 employees like I'm a celebrity, and told that I would be given a tour. I was given gifts, and asked to fill out an hour's worth of forms online for me and my daughter. Then I was told that my gums measured 3's, 4's and 5's, and with my top PPO insurance, my fee would be $1000 for a $400 deep cleaning, plus 4 fillings for me and 2 for my kid. I was refused a regular cleaning. Within 3 hours, I was sitting at another Ladera Ranch's Dental office, getting a free cleaning(covered by my insurance) and told most of my gums measured a 2! The reaction of that Dentist when he asked who said my gums had those numbers, he seemed unsurprised my the name, Dr Mai Ly. He acknowledged hearing this before about her. Ugh......I have no respect for people like Dr Mai Ly.
I think that the Dental licensing agencies need to hear from me.

I was very SUSPICIOUS seeing 85 reviews and almost ALL of them from out-of-town. Uhm, family and friends?? The local reviews were not so great (see Wally) but I called anyway. Being a new patient, I wanted information and cost of an implant. The receptionist was very aggressive and kept asking how I heard about their office and that I make an appointment and not answer my simple cost questions about an implant. Shouldn't my needs come first? Needless to say, it started to sound desparate and then she offered up a price range that was PRICEY - $2,500-$5,000!! WOW, I think I'll go elsewhere. Hard to believe the reviews from what I experienced.

The Ritz Carlton of dentistry! They impress you from the second you walk in the door. They are clued in to customer service and satisfaction. I am not easy to please as this is my fourth dentist in 4 years. I am definitely sticking with them.
