I have been going to Newport Dental for the last 3 years. Me and my fiance just recently moved about 3.5 hours away, and we still exclusively go to this office. They are professional and kind. They have incredible finanacing options and work with you to find the best way to approach your treatment. Even the most painful work I have had to have done, didn't feel as bad as treatments at other dentist offices. They ensure your comfort the entire way through. I have never working with better people and I look forward to working with them as long as they are driving distance away (yes, that includes 3.5 hours) :) Congratulations on being a diamond in the rough for an industry that has underwhelmed me for the years before I found you all!

The worst service came in for root canal been in pain for two weeks first priscription did not go threw called office they told me they send it so back and forth with pharmacy and denttist still week later no pain medication . second visit after sitting here from 10:08 am untill 10:45 my appointment was at 10:30 we are sorry your carecredit did not go threw do it again so they did not see me walk out with severe pain !!!

Rarely do I write a review but in this case it's important for new patients to be aware of what to expect. What you can expect is poor quality dental work and over charging for the services they provide, They quote you a price for services and when you go in for your appointment they either add items they forgot or miss-quoted. My wife had a bridge installed and after several visits and about 8K in out of pocket expenses they can't seem to adjust the fit so it doesn't keep falling out. Don't go here!!! NEGATIVE 5 STARS is what they deserve.

I’ve been coming to this dental office since I was three years old and the service is always great. Wait time is usually very minimal and if I ever need fillings they usually do them the same day as my recall exam. I just went in yesterday for oral surgery and even though I was nervous, the doctor, assistants and nurse all made me feel very safe and so far my recovery is going swimmingly (everything was clean, professional and it felt like the surgery took a minute—thanks to the IV sensation of course lol). Plus they always have availability for appointments! They’ve given me more than plenty of reasons to always keep coming back.

THE WORSE DENTAL PLACE EVER! They will steal your money

First, I'd like to begin to say that the women at the front desk have terrible attitudes and do not provide a welcoming environment. Second, I had to wait literally two hours in the waiting room to get my wisdom teeth removed, and they were still two patients behind me getting them out too, but there is only ONE doctor. Twelve days later, I started to feel very sick and lost my sense of smell and did a covid test and came back positive. I literally got covid.

The “cleaning” literally took 30 minutes, and the doctors were lazy and didn't do a good job. They had a machine clean my teeth. I have been to other dentist places before, and they manually clean my teeth, leaving them nice and shiny, and it took about an hour or two.

I'm pretty sure this place steals money from their patients. I know this because they tried to do it with me by overcharging their services. I have insurance with delta dental, and they mail you a bill with the exact amount of money you're supposed to pay out of pocket. When I received this in the mail, I was confused by the small amount I had to pay, so I confronted them and received a refund of the money they STOLE. They “claimed” that something went wrong with their system and overcharged me. But get this on the second visit, they didn't even bother to go over the bill with me; instead, they said I would receive it in the mail. How petty can you be?

Went in for brutal wisdom tooth pain. Saw Doctor Nguyen first and she was so kind and knowledgeable. Had the teeth removed by Doctor Choi a few weeks later and he was a consummate professional, it was an easy procedure to get through compared to most dental work. But also deserving of a big mention is everyone else that works there who were humorous, helpful, and incredibly patient with my many questions and anxiety. I will absolutely be returning here for future dental work. Thank you so much!

Highly recommend this office, I still come here even after moving to Orange County. Never feel pressured to get unnecessary work, staff is friendly and efficient. In five or so visits I have not had any pain or discomfort during a procedure. Dentist chairs face mini televisions which are a welcome distraction during longer procedures. Very happy with my experiences here!

They did an amazing job. For the first time in my life, I didn't feel nervous at the dentist. They all made me feel comfortable. The in-house financing and interest is reasonable and helpful. They don't rush me out the door. They were very thorough from beginning to end.

All the love in the world for this place! The staff and Doctors are gentle, friendly, and do an excellent job! I would definitely recommend this place for all levels of dental work! I've already recommended them to friends who all said the same thing: best dentist visit I've ever had!

On my first time visit the whole staff was wonderful -from the front desk, to the dental assistants, to Dr. Pauline! Everyone greeted me with a smile. Dr. Pauline took her time and answered all my questions. I felt that she really cared about my dental health and worked with me to develop a strategic dental health care plan that I felt comfortable with without feeling like I was being unnecessarily charged for services I didn't need like other dental offices. I strongly recommend Newport Dental - Los Angeles!
