I have always been mindful of where I go for dental care/healthcare, but from the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and safe. The entire staff had patience with me and worked with my busy schedule and panic attacks. I feel safe in their hands and trust what they tell me, never have I felt that I belonged more to a dental office until now, I walk in and see familiar faces they remember me and conversations we had. They are the definition of professional and comfort, I wouldn’t want to go any other place, when I leave Merced this will be one of those things I will miss, the safety and comfort I have here. As a UC Merced student I appreciate that they accept UCShip and are understanding with what comes with being a student. Thank you Pearl Dentistry!!

If you feel that you are paying too much or overcharged on your costs. Check with your insurance to see what the contracted rate are after they had billed your insurance . I was surprised to see how much they overcharged me and how they would charge my deductible each time I went. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning due to the sketchy charges. The tech were well educated and throughly explained flossing and brushing but other than that, it’s just another dentist place.

Response:my plan does not have a copay. It has a $50 ded and that was all. Yea, check your EOB that way you can see if you are being balanced billed as well. Compare with the contracted rate.

Accepted me because of my insurance , used one of my full exams, diagnosed me , charged me ahead of time to keep my name on the schedule and proceeded to cancel the next 2 appointments. And I was then told , they were “pretty sure” they could see me the following week. A waste of time and use of an exam.

Staff is friendly. All your dental and financial needs are well explained and easy to understand. They listen to any questions or concerns you have.

I have pretty high dental anxiety due to a previous experience at another dentist office. Leading to years of avoiding the dentist until I couldn’t. I did my research and found this office, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. Everyone in the office is friendly and understanding creating an environment that I felt both welcomed and comforted in. My anxiety, on more than a few occasions, has caused me tears just sitting in the waiting room. My dentist made the simple statement of “I’m only as good as my patient”. This would be how I described my overall experience. We only did work if/ when I was ready, even if it prolonged the visit. I was checked on throughout and after my visit to ensure I was comfortable. I highly recommend Pearl Family dentistry.

I have always been very apprehensive about going to the dentist. I’ve only had bad experiences with dental work. Getting work done at Pearl family dentistry has been great. The people are very friendly and very knowledgeable. The work they did was excellent and pain-free! I highly recommend this business!

I was immediately helped and scheduled an appointment within 24hours for my cracked filling. I appreciated the fast accommodations and during my appointment was treated with such care. Thank you for the excellent care to your patients.

I was visiting from out of town and had tooth pain. The office was able to get me in to be seen right away. They were awesome!

I had my cleaning yesterday and as always from the first person to the last at Pearl Dentistry I always feel like family they are always kind and caring .

The best dentist office. They are so patient and willing to educate the children and takes their time to give us parents information on what's going on with the kids as well. Highly recommend to anyone.
