My Milpitas Dentist, The Dental Office of Dr. Anthony Yen, DMD

I have never had a dentist clean my reeth before. He was an excellent hygentist & my first exam with Dr. Yen was thorough and professional. I totally appreciated his feedback re: the condition of my teeth since my last visit with my previous dentist. Both Dr. Yen & Morgan made me feel very calm & comfortable during my visit. Totally happy to be his patient now, since my previous favorite dentist has retired.

Had a very pleasant experience at Dr Yen's office. Staff was friendly and efficient. Office is clean and modern. Dr Yen gave advice on next steps and explained the options. Would definitely recommend this office for dental care.

I hadn't been to the dentist in years, likely more than 3 years. Because of Covid I was having a really hard time getting into my previous dentist and looking for a place that could do cosmetic work on my teeth, I found Dr. Anthony Yen and called to see if they were accepting new patients. The team that booked my appointment was amazing, so accommodating and was able to get me in the following week. I wasn't experiencing any pain or anything but was anxious to get a cleaning and check up. When I arrived everyone was super friendly. The office was extremely clean. The dental hygienist was awesome, did a great job with my cleaning and was gentle. He was also very personable and was chatting with me which helped to keep my mind off of the uncomfortable parts. Dr. Yen himself was great-again super friendly, I ended up needing a couple of fillings and they got me in the next week and he did beautiful work and honestly it was pain free.
If you are looking for a new dentist in the Milpitas area look no further.

My friend recommended that I visit Dr. Yen's clinic in Milpitas, saying that he had a good reputation when he practiced in Fresno and moved to Milpitas now. However, I was wondering if Dr. Yen, being a native English speaker, can explain my tooth problems in Mandarin. Since childhood I have needed to visit the dentist often. So I know I have to have a very good dentist. As a result, since I trusted my friend and her recommendation, I decided to give it a try.

Yes, indeed it was a very good experience. Assisted by the receptionist and dental technician, done with 3D digital X-ray, good hygiene, I was amazed to find out that Dr. Yen examined my teeth very professionally, and he can explain to me with both very clear and simple English and Mandarin. I will have the same-day crown on my next visit. The smiles from all the staff and Dr. Yen comforted me a lot. I recommended my friends right after the first visit with Dr. Yen.

Dr. Yen is actually a family friend of ours, and so when we heard that he had his own clinic nearby in Milipitas we had to switch dentists. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the cleaning, examination, and fillings I recently had done were all efficiently done in a professional manner. Definitely glad to say I have Dr. Yen as my dentist, and I'll be seeing them soon!

The dental hygienist cleaned my teeth without inflicting pain. No blood or chapped gums, so an A+

During my prior appointment Dr. Yen introduced himself and reviewed my chart with me; proving to be competent & personable. He also reattached a cap & his attention to detail left it a well glued perfect fit. His California accent helped relax me as well.

Mind you, this praise is coming from a difficult-to-please Caucasian Septuagenarian.

My lower right tooth was hurt badly. I went to Dr. Yen’s office. He looked at it first and did some simple touching as well as hot/cold temperature sensitive test. Very gentle and not hurting at all. Then he asked me if I would like to take a 3-D X-ray to see the root causes. I did. Then he went over the images and pinpointed out what might be wrong exactly. Then suggested a treatment plan. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. The office is full of the most advanced equipments as well. It is efficient and saves treatment time in patient’s mouth. Dr. Yen’s hands are very gentle and skillful. I highly appreciate the experience I had yesterday.

I have been experiencing sensitivity on a double crown that was done 6 months ago and Dr Yen did an exam, xRays and a bite test to understand what could be the cause. He found that my bite was off so filed down the crown to get it more level with my other teeth. He really wanted to find the cause and resolve it and appreciate this. Thanks Dr Yen!!

I was referred to see Dr Anthony Yen by a friend and had a great experience. He is very professional and thorough when explaining my treatment options. He's a great listener and addressed all the concerns I have. I have referred my family and they were also happy with their experience. I shall be returning for my followup.
