The best dental experience I have ever had. I highly recommend Dr. Mokbil. He truly is a fantastic dentist and explains everything he is doing as he works. I had a previous experience with a bad dentist and he has taken amazing care of me. So glad I found him!

This place is flat out the worst. I'm very fortunate to be a service connected veteran and I don't have to use swindlers and crooks like Rancho Cordova Smiles Dentistry. I'm writing this on behalf of a good friend, that has gone thru hell with this place. They are flat out crooks and liars, and the place she goes to now has had to go back and correct the degenerate work Rancho Cordova Smiles Dentistry performed on her. She has now had to spend thousands on corrections. Rancho Cordova Smiles Dentistry is in my eyes a business that should be shut down. My friend is so fortunate that there is actually caring dentist out in the world and she was able to find one after Rancho Cordova Smiles Dentistry, because if she had to have lived with the work that Rancho Cordova Smiles Dentistry performed she would of had to live with terrible pain, and every single tooth they worked on and crowned they performed has broken, she's so fortunate that her new dentist was able to repair the years of bad work Rancho Cordova Smiles Dentistry performed, if you have any self-worth and care at all about your smile think twice, think three times, think four times before you walk through those doors at Rancho Cordova Smiles Dentistry, don't be another victim of their careless Dentistry.

UPDATE! Today the owner lied to my face, saying he'd taken X-rays of my daughter and looked over them! After we left, she told me they never took X-rays! Additionally, the owner terminated service with our family after today's visit, saying my bad review regarding their poor customer service warranted termination! See photo of termination letter!
The dental work has been okay, but the customer service staff is not friendly, and do not take the time to properly verify benefits, which is very inconvenient. They tried to charge me for services that were included with my insurance, and were quite rude.

Great dental office to have in the community! Dr. Mokbil and his staff are awesome people! I like that they educate their patients when they recommend dental care. Dr. Mokbil explains what they are doing and why. He has state of the art technology, that makes your visit quick and smooth. I'm glad to call him my dentist! Give his office a try, you won't be disappointed. 10-Stars!

Horrible!
The front staff alerted me of a diagnosis that I didn't discuss with the doctor or she neglected to mention. They couldn't stop saying it loud enough to the entire office and waiting area that have a disease. So much for HIPPA. Trying to force me to have treatment I didn't want. Then the owner showed his aggression to me and said he would look at me. With moving arms. No thank you the relationship is ruined

Dr. Mokbil And his staff were excellent. He put veneers on my front teeth that look so natural that even I can’t tell they’re veneers. He is a true artist when it comes to teeth. Thank you so much.

NEVER AGAIN. It has taken me weeks to decide if I would be writing it since I am not a suspicious person, but after receiving an email for a more than $1,000 deep cleaning appointment I absolutely did not book, I feel compelled to warn people (I was able to cancel). This business is one in a chain of 500. The office is a well-oiled machine with a very friendly staff, and they are happy to book your appointments and bill whatever they can. They sit you down and ask you all sorts of conversational questions on initial visit (super friendly, I thought!), a financial manager-type finds out your insurance and such before you go through the process-- this comes into play later. I went in for a new client intro and my six-month cleaning/checkup. Since I recently moved to the area, I needed a new dentist and I have never cared much who I was seeing, there was a sign out front here and it's close to my home. This experience however, ended in tears in the parking lot, and wondering if I was a pawn in an insurance suck. Everything went well before I saw the dentist. He seemed really friendly, until the exam. I have never had anyone push so hard on my gums during an exam, which should have been my first red flag. I go to a dentist every six months to a year (rarely waiting a year) and have lived all over-- never experienced this sort of push on my mouth. After the gum punching, it was determined I must have the earliest stages of periodontal disease, but great news I am told, because they know my insurance will pay for the almost $1500 treatment, I only had to pay $150. As a scientist I am prone to asking follow-up questions and was inquisitive as to how my diagnosis is determined, apparently it is just by the gum pressing and the dentist seemed agitated that I wanted to know what it was and how it was determined. He just pointed at a wall with pictures of rotten teeth, and told me it's why "old people have bad teeth." I would need to start periodontal cleanings and keep up with that instead of regular cleanings. I felt uneasy without understanding what was being diagnosed. It also stunned me when the financial manager swiftly came in with the great news and full print out of what my excellent insurance was covering and how and when I should make all my appointments. I still hadn't received the cleaning I came in for, and asked if I could still get that. I was leaving town and if I did do the deep cleanings it would be a month or two before I could make the appointments (multiple needed). This was not well-received by the dentist, but they agreed to do it anyway. The chair was lowered so that my head was below my body. Instead of the traditional pick-and-scrub, the dentist took some sort of electric tool and scraped the bottoms of my teeth along my gums. It was the most painful thing I have ever experienced at a dentist. My head was really low and blood was going down the back of my throat. I felt like I was drowning. The "cleaning" took maybe a minute, which felt long, then he told the dental assistant to polish me. The rest of my teeth were not even cleaned. The dentist made what felt like a fast rude exit and I was trying to hold back tears. I feel horrible for the hygienist who was really sweet and after he left she raised my head and rinsed the blood. She polished my teeth quickly and I was sent to the office to make appointments for all my future work. Knowing I would never come back, I went for the easy breakup to get out of there and said I was unsure about dates and they could look up a few but I would have to "get back to them" when I knew my schedule. I didn't know yet if I needed the deep cleanings, but I did know I would never ever enter their office again. A couple weeks later I received an email reminder about my "upcoming appointment" which was infuriating since I absolutely did not give permission to book it! I went to my car and cried instead that morning. This is a system ready to book and bill, with a smile, and probably a PR response below. Consumer warned! Oh and the one-star is mandatory to post review.
