BUYER BEWARE. This practice will do anything in its power to scam you. I went in for my initial exam earlier this month. They did the usual-took x-rays and evaluated my teeth. Next, the dentist (Dr Guerra) told me I needed a crown and 2 fillings. He also said my teeth would fall out if I do not get braces. He showed me pictures of highly degraded teeth while in the chair which seemed like blatant scare tactics as mine actually look pretty good and haven't had any issues for years. They then handed me a quote while still in the chair that they wanted me to sign which was for approximately $1,300 out of pocket. I told them I would get back to them about it. I then called my insurance (Delta) and read them the codes given to me on the quotes. Delta told me that they were all covered. The next day I called this dentist office and informed them these procedures were covered with a small co-pay. They denied my claim and would not even consider talking to my insurance or sending them a pre-authorization form. Their only explanation for this was that my insurance didn't cover it and that their costs are too high to be able to do it for that price. This was enough of a red flag to know that this would not be my dentist any longer. I also asked why they told me my cleaning would be $37 despite my plan providing me with 2 free cleanings per year. They said they do not perform the free cleaning unless I also pay out of pocket for the fluoride which is $37. (They didn't even perform the cleaning). Fast forward two weeks later, I went to a dentist who actually has decent reviews on yelp. This dentist informed me I absolutely did not need a crown or braces. They also performed my cleaning on the first visit and didn't sell me a single thing (including a forced fluoride treatment). In hindsight, I should have heeded the terrible reviews on this page and steered clear.

Best dentist I've ever had! They never hurt my mouth during cleanings, they spot issues early and explain all my options, and they don't push unnecessary treatments! I trust them with my pearly whites. ♥️♥️♥️

After have a less than positive experience at another dentist office, I went back online and found Sacramento Dentistry. They were able to fit me in first thing the next morning. Everyone, from start to finish, was super nice, knowledgeable and professional. They took complete x-rays and pictures to look at my teeth both ways. Dr. Mercado did an amazing job at assessing my behaviors and issues based on my teeth. He went through the plan of attack, so to speak and was able to take care of my immediate problem , a root canal, right then. Thanks to him, my pain is gone! I am so grateful!! Thanks to him and the rest of the staff, I am not as scared of going to the dentist.

I have been coming to this dental office for six years. I have had checkups, cleanings, root canals, Invisalign, and most recently, my first ever extraction.

The ladies at the reception desk are friendly and professional. They're very knowledgeable about my insurance, what it covers and what it doesn't. Everything is explained to me clearly, including cost and alternative treatments if the first suggested treatment is a bit pricey.

The office is beautiful. I've never been offered free beverages at a dental office before. In the examination rooms, they even offer pillows and blankets (it can get a bit chilly).

Lee, the hygienist...what a pro. He's the greatest...quick, thorough, and gentle.

As for Dr. Castro, well, all I can say is she's an angel of mercy. My best root canal experiences have been in her capable hands. (She won't advertise this, because she's too humble, but she was a **top** dentist in another country before coming here.)

I'm so glad that when I recently needed an extraction, Dr. Castro was the one to perform it. She was understanding about my apprehension and was so gentle and kind about it. I'm not exactly a wimp, but I was stressed out that day. Dr. Castro relieved that stress with her stellar chairside manner and her expert skill.

I just can't say enough good things, and I hope I never have to go anywhere else!

The staff is always very kind and welcoming. The dental hygienist and dentist are great and very professional. 10/10 recommend.

Frie is the best hygienist! She's pleasant and efficient, my teeth always look great after. I've also especially appreciated all the tools and resources they have available at this dentist. Solid experience overall

There was some miscommunication at the time of making my appointment but every one in the office did what they could to make sure we were taken care of. Sure could’ve clocked out for the day but they all went above and beyond to make it happen! These ladies rock! I always recommend this office, I’ve brought my family for years and I’ve never been disappointed.

Do not go here! All they care about is your money!!! I am pretty religious about going to the dentist every six months for a routine check-up and every once in awhile I will have a cavity. I went here for a simple check-up and ended up spending two hours here. At this appointment, Dr. Castro basically told me how screwed up my teeth were. She stated that I had 6 cavities, needed 3 root canals, jaw surgery, and I needed braces...again. I walked out there with a treatment plan costing over $4000 out of pocket. I cried because I was so upset and never had a dentist who they told me my teeth were so bad the way Dr. Castro did. I didn't even get my teeth cleaned.

This dentist office only cares about one thing and one thing only, your money. They don't care about their patient. DONT GO HERE!

I would recommend Sacramento Dentistry a Group to everyone. This is the best place to have dental work done. The care and compassion that goes into each patient is epic! Thank you so much for making me smile bigger when I see myself smile!
